Starfield was announced at E3 2018 but Bethesda hasn't opened up at all regarding the game's development, just like they haven't about their entire company in the past year.
Starfield is one of Bethesda's highly anticipated game.

Starfield is the upcoming action RPG from Bethesda, which was revealed in Bethesda’s 2018 E3 Press Conference. The release of the game is scheduled for November 2022. Meanwhile, some new leaks have emerged, giving us more details about the upcoming title.

The leaks emerged on the Reddit platform, where it was claimed that that the player will be able to choose from different planets and space stations as the starting point each time they replay the game. Based on the location chosen by the players, they will experience differences in gravity and its effects, both in the visual sense and the gameplay effect.

One of the major leaks is that the planets are much bigger than the entire map of Skyrim. There are dozens of planets that will be available to the player to explore, and over the course of the game, they will also be able to make some of them their home planets.

A Starfield leak on /v/ from September might be legit, several details confirmed in latest Bethesda marketing video from GamingLeaksAndRumours

In these home planets, it is claimed that a settlement system will be present in a much-improved condition. In addition, questlines that are similar to Fallout 4’s approach are also going to be a part of the game. These quests will be managed and assigned by an NPC by the name of Branson Garvey, which is speculated to be a subtle nod to Preston Garvey.

Bethesda had also released a new trailer yesterday, depicting the Settled Systems, showing us that the game takes place in 2330 and that there is a religious cult that players will be able to join. This has proved certain previous leaks regarding the game as well.

Leaks this early in time are best taken with caution, as it is very likely that the details here might change when the game comes out. At the same time, they just might be true. We will have to wait another year to see whether the leakers got the details of the game right.
