Solar Ash is a highly anticipated 3D action game that is all set to release very soon. It is brought to you by Heart Machine, the developer of Hyper Light Driver. The game would be published by Annapurna Interactive and would be coming to coming to PlayStation 4 & 5, and PC via the Epic Games Store. Here’s what we know about it.
Release
Brace yourself as the game is coming out sooner than you expected. Solar Ash is all set to officially release on 0ctober 26, 2021, on the above-mentioned platforms. It was first revealed by Heart Machine in 2019 and since then a lot of new information has been released.
Solar Ash looks like the third-person, 3D interpretation of that Hyper Light Driver world. But it has been clarified by Alx Preston that Solar Ash isn’t a sequel to Hyper Light Driver, though it is loosely based in the same universe. Preston also assured that they will provide fluid controls, with rail-grinding, grappling, and cloud surfing.
In the game, you take on the role of Rei, a Voidrunner who will journey through a colorful and stylized world. Her mission is fighting with the enemies to save her planet from the Ultravoid. Ultravoid is a supermassive black hole hungry for whole planets. Looking at the storyline, the 3D format might just prove to be an amazing experience.
