All upcoming games for Sony PlayStation 5 this 2023

PlayStation 5 owners are in for a wild ride with all kinds of titles coming their way this year! Aside from all the announcements made during The Game Awards 2022, there are also previously-announced projects that are becoming available to the PS5 sometime this year.

January releases

  • One Piece Odyssey – January 13, 2023
  • Forspoken – January 24, 2023
  • Dead Space Remake – January 27, 2023
  • Season – January 31, 2023

Although there are only four releases for this month, trust us when we say you should have at least one of these titles on your wishlist. For us, the highlights of this month are One Piece Odyssey and the Dead Space Remake that got fans excited for what’s to come.

  • One Piece Odyssey will be an RPG published by Bandai Namco. The game will release as a way of celebrating the franchise’s 25th anniversary. Because of that, there is a high chance your favorite One Piece characters from all timelines will cross paths for one epic adventure.
  • The second release we’re anticipating this month is the Dead Space Remake. If you’re a big fan of horror games, then you may have been itching for something that comes close to the original Dead Space game. Now that it will release on the Sony PlayStation 5, expect jumpscares in high definition and a seamless playthrough with the PS5’s powerful hardware.

February releases

  • Hogwarts Legacy – February 10, 2023
  • Wild Hearts – February 17, 2023
  • Like a Dragon – Ishin – February 21, 2023
  • Atomic Heart – February 21, 2023

All four releases for this month are titles we’re looking forward to on the PlayStation 5. However, because of how much hype it’s gotten over the months since it’s been announced, Hogwarts Legacy is our most anticipated February release.

  • The delay was a punch in the gut for fans dying to explore the Wizarding World in an open setting. But of course, good things come to those who wait. According to Avalanche Software, they had to delay the release to make way for improvements.
  • Once the game releases next month, we’re more than looking forward to how good it will look on the Sony PlayStation 5. Since it is a next-gen console, expect your wizarding experience to be taken to the next level.

March releases

  • Skull and Bones – March 9, 2023
  • Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – March 17, 2023
  • Resident Evil 4 Remake – March 24, 2023

The three upcoming games for the Sony PlayStation 5 this March are three titles we’ve been looking forward to ever since they were all announced. From Skull and Bones finally getting a release date to the Resident Evil 4 Remake that isn’t exactly a remake, mark your calendars for these release dates.

April releases

  • Dead Island 2 – April 28, 2023
  • Star Trek: Resurgence – April 2023

Upcoming games for the Sony PlayStation 5 in April aren’t really as significant as the other months. But during the Gamescom Opening Night Live, gamers were given a glimpse of what to expect in Dead Island 2Since then, both old and new players are looking forward to what the upcoming game will have in store for them.

May releases

  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – May 26, 2023

There is only one PlayStation 5 release for the month of May. Another game that has been the talk of the town for comic book fans is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

  • If you’re a fan of the Arkham games, you may want to pick this up once it becomes available in May. This game lets you control Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark as you carry out a new mission as the Suicide Squad. Did we mention the game supports 1-4 players for local co-op?

June releases

  • Street Fighter 6 – June 2, 2023
  • Diablo 4 – June 6, 2023

June will be another big month for gamers as Street Fighter 6 and Diablo 4 are coming out on next-gen consoles like the Sony PlayStation 5. Now that we’ve had the chance to take in the entirety of Street Fighter 6 in its first official reveal, it looks like Capcom won’t be disappointing with this title. As for Diablo 4, we hope it lives up to the hype. With players waiting for a new title to release after nearly 10 years, expectations are high for Diablo 4.
