Spider-Man PS4 Patch 1.07 & New Game+ Detailed And Then Removed

Spider-Man PS4

Marvel’s Spider-Man, or popularly known as Spider-Man PS4 is getting its first of three DLCs – The Heist on October 23rd. The Heist will bring in some crunchy story missions, new crimes, two new trophies, and three new suits.

The European PlayStation Blog mentioned a new patch – 1.07, scheduled for October 17th, i.e. tomorrow, that’d bring the New Game Plus mode along with some bug fixes. However, at the time of writing this article, all the references to Patch 1.07 have been removed, including the details of the New Game Plus mode.

This could mean that the patch won’t arrive tomorrow and might as well be delayed. Currently, the blog post only mentions of the DLC, the two new suits and the infamous Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat.

The patch (details now removed) will come with a new difficulty level called Ultimate that’d work seamlessly with the New Game Plus mode. Additionally, two new trophies will arrive – one for playing through the game on New Game Plus mode and the other for completing the game on Ultimate difficulty.

We’ve contacted PlayStation requesting a comment on Patch 1.07 and why the blog post removed all the references to it. We’ll update this article as soon as a reply comes in.
