Spider-Man: No Way Home is the biggest box office hit of the past 2 years and is being adored by the fans and critics alike. That aside, it has been described as one of the best theatre experience in years by a lot of viewers. MCU movies have always been hype-worthy and exciting due to incredible world building and extravagance they boast.
It’s been over a month since its release so, by now most of you know about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Their versions of Spider-man made an extended appearance in the film before being sent back to their respective universes. So, the questions most fans are asking is – was that it? Or will we see them in the future MCU or Sony’s Spiderverse? At this point in the MCU, anything seems possible, and Tobey Maguire just stated he isn’t done with Spiderman yet!
“I don’t want to say close the chapter, but to revisit it, have certain resolutions”, Tobey said when asked about his thoughts on rejoining the Spiderverse. Will Tobey Maguire Be Back As Spiderman?
There have been quite a few rumors since a month that Tobey will be back as Spider-man in the MCU. Owing to these rumors, fans are expecting to see him in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. To be honest, this might be possible since Doctor Strange has already met SpideyMaguire and his reappearance might be a signal to Strange that all hell’s broken lose.
There was no need for him to specify that (I don’t wanna say close the chapter) thing but he still did cause that’s what secrecy policy of Marvel makes you. It makes you too careful and that leads to such incidents where no one asks you anything, but you still act carefully. So, since he seemed to be walking on eggshells, it looks like he has more to hide.
Anyways this was the first time the popular actor spoke about Spider-man: Way Home. He seemed to have enjoyed his role and described how wholesome he felt when he got to work with these people. Mguire claimed to be a fan of Holland and Andrew’s versions of Spider-Man and seemed to admire the guys. “It’s pretty wild to witness the immensity of all of this history coming together,” he said.
