May Community Day
- The new Community Day Pokemon information is here, thanks to the latest Pokemon Go datamine! It will attract competitive trainers while disappointing casual players.
- The Poke Miners discovered Swablu Community Day badges and clues. Along with the now-standard Special Research mission and comments to Swablu photobombs!
- The Swablu Community Day will arrive on May 15th. There’s no word on what extra skill will be available to Altaria during the event. It’s possible it’ll be the Feather Dance!
- Aside from the leaked Community Day, Pokemon Go is expected to bring a slew of Pokemon from X and Y! During the “Luminous Legends” events in May, both of these Pokemon might make an appearance!
- Xerneas
- Yveltal
Swablu – Altaria
- Swablu and its evolved type, Altaria, are both intriguing candidates for a Community Day theme. Altaria is a high-level Pokemon in the Great League division of Pokemon Go’s tournament event, Go Battle League.
- Granting Altaria a new skill might make it even more beneficial in Great League wars. Arguably upsetting the competitive landscape in that stage!
- Altaria’s Mega Evolved type is also likely to appear around the course of the event. After all, Pokemon Go has guaranteed a “surprise” Mega Evolution this month!
