SZA and Doja Cat have teamed up to release yet another foot-tapping number. The duo has released a remix version of SZA’s song Kill Bill from her 2022 album SOS.
The girls teased the track only a few hours before its release when Doja tagged the Open Arms singer in a tweet, claiming that she had done “something bad.” After receiving a reply from SZA, the Say So singer tweeted a date and time without providing any extra details.
The two women have previously worked together on Kiss Me More. The song was a huge success, earning them a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Doja Cat was supposed to get featured in SZA’s SOS
The remixed version of Kill Bill has already received over 74K views and more than 1.4K comments on YouTube. The song features a new rap verse from Doja Cat, along with the familiar chorus by SZA.

The Woman singer was initially planned to feature in SOS, however, she had to step back due to an emergency tonsil procedure. SZA talked about the incident in an interview with HOT 97. She said:
āShe had surgery, she had to have that emergency, like, vocal cord surgery and she wasnāt ready in the time that we needed to get the song done.”
However, she also shared her intention to work with the Get Into It singer for the deluxe version of the album. She shared:
“I hope for the best, and Iām still, like, a major fan of her and her artistry. And I think sheās so incredible and I would love to get her on the deluxe [version].ā
Doja Cat has recently announced that she is taking a break from her usual pop music and planning to create a rap-based album. She tweeted about her decision last week, explaining that pop music no longer excites her. She also told Variety:
āI know that Iāve done a lot of pink and soft things, a lot of pop and glittery sounds. But for this next era, Iām going in a more masculine direction.ā

The artist is currently working on her next album, reportedly titled Hellmouth. The album may contain songs with titles such as Wet V**ina, Balut, and Agora Hills.
