That Time I Got Reincarnated as A Slime Season 3 was announced lately. If you do not know, the Anime franchise got its own film.
- During the “grand finale” screening of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Guren no Kizuna-hen) it was revealed that the third season of the television anime series will air on NTV and its affiliated networks in the spring of 2024.

A history of the Anime’s first two seasons
- The first television anime adaptation of Taiki Kawakami’s manga was released in October 2018. This was based on Fuse and Mitz Vah’s light novel series. Crunchyroll streamed the anime. FUNimation Entertainment streamed an English dubbed version.
- Following this, the first cour of the second season of the anime premiered in January 2021. Subsequently, in April 2021, the television anime adaptation of Shiba’s spinoff manga aired on Tokyo MX.
The Spin-Off is titled The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Alternatively, it’s called Tensura Nikki Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken in Japanese.
Although it is a Spin-Off, it is still very close to the original material. It follows Rimuru’s journeys as such. Making it difficult to distinguish it as a separate spinoff altogether.
Once The Slime Diaries concluded, the second cour of the second season began in July 2021, providing nine consecutive months of television anime content from the franchise in 2021.
What is That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Scarlet Bond film about?
The film has been doing nothing short of phenomenal. The Scarlet Bond film features a brand-new original story by Fuse. The story revolves around a newly established country called Raja, situated to the west of Tempest.
Rimuru and his comrades find themselves embroiled in a complex conspiracy that centers around a woman with an enigmatic ability. Additionally, Rimuru and his advisor, Benimaru, come across another surviving ogre named Hiiro, who once held Benimaru in high esteem.
