The Taiwan Entertainment Software Rating Information website has separate listings for the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. Moreover, the developers were also aware of the demand for a PS5 version.
PS4 & PS5 Demands
While replying to a fan on Twitter they gave hope that a PlayStation version of the game could eventually arrive.
“Thanks for letting us know you’d like to see The Ascent on PS5! While we don’t have anything to announce right now, we want you to know we hear you and the team are aware of the demand for a PS5 version. Keep an eye right here on our Twitter for updates!”
I know most of you are waiting for the PS5 version. Let’s hope for the best and wait until the next official statement is released by the developer.
The Ascent
- The Ascent is a cyberpunk-themed action role-playing video game. Swedish indie game studio Neon Giant has developed the game. It is published by Curve Digital for Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
- Players were fascinated by the game. Its visuals, combat, animation, and sound design also made the players crazy. The Ascent puts players in the role of a worker for the Ascent Group, a megacorporation that suddenly collapses without warning, leading to anarchy.
- It’s a fantastically detailed world design. Its fabulous lighting makes it one of the most visually stunning games of its type. its plot and dialogue can feel like trying to break through diamond at times, the exploration and combat that flow around it make everything else a real joy.
The game has been an Xbox exclusive since it was released in July. But now the developers are planning to launch it on PS4 and PS5.
