It is a ticket to access the July Community Day – exclusive Special Research, The Great Gastly. You must play during the specified time to receive all the special event bonuses.

Sunday, July 19, 2020.
Time
11 am to 5 pm, your local time, wherever you stay.
Features
- Gastly will appear more frequently in the wild. Lucky players may encounter a Shiny Gastly as well. Shiny Haunter and Shiny Gengar will be available too.
- Ghastly’s evolved form is Haunter. Upgrade Haunter during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Gengar that knows Shadow Punch.
- If you want surprises, take a few snapshots during the event.
- July Community Day Box will be a special one-time-purchase featuring 30 Ultra Balls, an Elite Fast TM, two Incense, and two Super Incubators.
- For $1 USD, you can access the Community Day-exclusive Special Research story: The Great Gastly! Follow Professor WIllow as he investigates some spooky happenings in his mobile lab!
The Gastly Gastly Ticket
Tickets for The Great Gastly Special Research are now live! Tickets are nonrefundable. Please note that this Special Research will not include an in-game medal.
Bonuses
- Eggs will require 1/4 Hatch Distance when placed in Incubators during the event period. Please note that this bonus will not stack with other active Hatch Distance bonuses.
- Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Also, make sure to turn on Adventure Sync to take advantage of the 1/4 Hatch Distance bonus on Gastly Community Day.
