Dota 2 The International 9 Shanghai

It’s the last day of The International 8 and a huge reveal was made today. Dota 2’s The International 9, after years of wait, is finally coming to Asia, Shanghai in particular.

The Shanghai government is pleading full support for the event, that’d be held in the Mercedes-Benz Arena, Shanghai. The crowd, mostly LGD fans went crazy over the announcement and excitement reflected on the crowd’s awestruck faces.

In a flashback video that played before the start of the Lower Bracket Finals revealed the vital information, which also took the crowd back in a nostalgic trip that started with The International 1 at Gamescom 2011.

Shanghai 2019 - The International 9

Today is the final day of The International 8, displaying three of the world’s best teams battling against each other for the ultimate TI8 Aegis Of Champions. The first match is between PSG.LGD and EG, winner of which, will advance to the Winner Bracket Finals against OG.

OG has already secured the second position and will play against the Lower Bracket Winner for the ultimate glory.
