The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - Final trailer breakdown + All details - Featured

The final trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has finally dropped and we’ll be giving you a breakdown just in case you’re still reeling from all the excitement. Seen as this is the highly anticipated sequel to Breath of the Wild, it’s only right for Nintendo to give us an action-packed final trailer. Aside from new location and stunning gameplay footage, a classic boss looks like they’re coming back to Tears of the Kingdom. Stay with us!

Final trailer for Tears of the Kingdom takes us on a wild ride

The trailer starts off with beautiful shots of the game’s environment. We also see various enemies like Bokoblins and Chuchus interacting with each other. As the music builds up, the trailer cuts to Link skydiving and passing by floating structures spread across the skies of Hyrule.

Link uses his glider to descent and after a while of gliding, he eventually lands on green, green pastures. For a game that will release on a six-year-old device, the visuals are absolutely stunning. The way the environment renders is impressive, and we honestly can’t wait to put in a lot of hours seeing what Tears of the Kingdom offers Zelda fans.

  • The trailer has multiple cuts featuring Link walking through different areas. They also showcase our main character scaling what appears to be a mountain with a breathtaking view in the background.
  • We also see tents set up near Hyrule Castle. It could only mean that what was mentioned at the end of Breath of the Wild is in effect. This restoration effort gives us hope that Hyrule may finally be at peace.

  • Of course, not everything is sunshine and rainbows in Hyrule. After such a peaceful and calming start, the final trailer for Tears of the Kingdom reveals areas in disarray.
  • At one point in the trailer, we see Link and Zelda together. The shot reminds us of The Amazing Spider-Man’s Gwen Stacy falling as Link fails to grab onto Zelda’s hand in time to save her.

  • The trailer features impressive gameplay and the one scene that stuck to us most is when Link is falling into a pit filled with lasers. We can only imagine how head-scratching and frustrating getting through those lasers will be once we get our hands on the game.

Ganondorf is back.. but is he the only threat Link faces in Tears of the Kingdom?

One of the most exciting things about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is Ganondorf, and we get a full-on glimpse of him in the final trailer! It was only time for this classic Zelda boss to come back anyway. In Breath of the Wild, he isn’t exactly killed off as Zelda only sealed him away to keep the peace of Hyrule.

  • However, there is also the mysterious being with white hair. From the looks of it, this particular character doesn’t seem too friendly. Could they be a new threat to Hyrule?

  • Unfortunately, Ganondorf’s story does not stop there. With him coming back in Tears of the Kingdom, who knows what else he’s capable of? Furthermore, the mysterious being with white hair we saw could be working with him.
  • Zelda is also seen wielding the Master Sword. What could this mean? What role will she play in the upcoming game?

Although the trailer blew us away, it definitely left us with lots of questions. But what we do know is this game will definitely blow us all away. Tears of the Kingdom is shaping up to be a great Zelda game and we cannot wait any longer to immerse ourselves in Hyrule once more.
