TikTok: Why is the Fav Princess Peach Filter NSFW?

As we all know, TikTok has been a source of entertainment and knowledge for all ages. Dance challenges, news reports, trends, video edits, and anything else you could think of could be here on the platform. Unfortunately, filters that are supposed to be fun may have been added to the list of banned things on TikTok. Recently, a Fav Princess Peach filter took over TikTok, not for fun, but for its NSFW content. Here’s what you missed out about these trending TikTok filters.

What is TikTok’s Fav Princess Peach Filter?

This filter isn’t new to TikTok users around the globe. Many filters with the same design came out on the application just to test the users’ preferences. These filters have K-pop variants like “your favorite girl group,” “choose your K-pop idol,” and such. Of course, TV show characters are also available, like “who’s your favorite character in this specific TV show,” and more.

In a larger design, there are brackets that would have you tilting your head left and right until you reach your favorite K-pop group, K-pop song, or more. However, with TikTok’s Fav Princess Peach Filter, excited users who wished to try it might be scarred by what they have seen.

The Fav Princess Peach Filter has Super Mario’s princess, Peach herself, of course, in the choices. Others probably thought this would compare the former animated Peach characters to the newest in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Not until they tilted their heads to choose and get flashed with an NSFW photo of Princess Peach.

Why is it NSFW?

Upon checking the application, TikTok already took down and probably banned the filter. Those users who got the chance to play the filter continued to post their videos with their reactions after seeing the photo. Don’t worry; we haven’t encountered a video that did not blur or cover the NSFW filter.

We will not get into the details of the NSFW photo. Content creators and users speak out that these filters are inappropriate and, in the first place, shouldn’t have seen the light of day on any social media platforms. Those who have used the filter warned other users about it.

After choosing from the first wholesome options, you’ll encounter consecutive NSFW photos. While we researched this filter, there were more than three explicit photos. We’re not quite sure if the users only used the same Fav Princess Peach filter, but so far, the filter’s nowhere to be found in the application.

Are there other NSFW filters?

Unfortunately, there are. Some TikTok users also found a few more NSFW video filters of different characters. We saw a Mario one, Marvel’s Incredible Hulk, Sanrio’s Hello Kitty, the character Sonic, and even Mr. Clean. This kind of filter even reached the anime characters.

With this surge of NSFW TikTok filters on the application, we advise parents to constantly check what their children are doing or watching on their phones. It would be best to stay away from this kind of game filter first until TikTok completely bans and restrict the creation of this as well.

Fond of writing poetry and reading. Zeane keeps herself sane through Kpop, and a bit of purchasing the albums too. She enjoys taking photos, most of the time the moon and sunsets. Zeane casually plays CoDM, rhythm games, or just whatever she finds interesting in the application stores, just a piece of gaming info right there.
