It’s almost a year since announcing a second season and an extra episode of TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You. The anime adaptation of Kenjiro Hata’s manga series has finally revealed the Tonikaku Kawaii Second season. At the same time, the extra episode released on November 22.

On Monday, November 21st, 2022, the official website of Tonikaku Kawaii released the first trailer and key visual for the second season. Confirming it is to be released in 2023. The other main cast and staff were also disclosed.

Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2

TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You Season 2 will continue the story of Nasa Yuzaki and his cute wife Tsukasa Tsukuyomi.

The day before the first season’s finale episode aired in December 2022, anime news leakers claimed that Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2 announcement was incoming. It just took a little more time for the news leaks to be confirmed. Finally confirmed in November 2021, but the production got delayed.

TONIKAWA new extra episode

 

The extra episode is titled “Uniform” and can be streamed on Crunchyroll. On April 3, 2022, the initial announcement added a trailer for the new special episode.

Where to watch Tonikaku Kawaii season 2?

Crunchyroll will be streaming the episodes as they are broadcast in Japan in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

  • We can expect the release date in the next few months. Until then you can catch up with the series because its first season is also streamable on Crunchyroll with the OVAs.
  • Initially, Crunchyroll only streamed the anime’s English subtitles for season one. On Nov 20, 2022, the dubbed version released but had to premier over a month after the episodes first began streaming with English subtitles.
  • Hoping that the turnaround time for the Tonikaku Kawaii season 2 English dub will release faster.

The story of TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You is as follows:
  • It’s about a guy named Nasa, who meets a cute girl named Tsukasa on the day of his high school entrance exam. Nasa falls head over heels for her and confesses to her.
  • But, Tsukasa said that she will only date him only after they get married.
  • She appears in Nasa’s life on his 18th birthday to get married and thus begins their sweet married life.
