K-pop has seen massive growth in seemingly little time. It has become a global industry. And with K-pop going global we have seen many successful collaborations between artists. Lauv, HRVY, Alesso, Corsak, Dua Lipa, SIA, Ed Sheeran, Megan Thee Stallion, Coldplay, Armaan Malik, and John Legend are a few who have given memorable collabs with K-pop artists.

• BTS x Halsey

BTS and Halsey are one of the most popular and successful collaborations. They worked together on the song Boy With Luv from the album Map Of The Soul: Persona. The cheerful synergy and friendship between the artists lifted the song to a new level.

• Chungha x R3HAB

A collab list is incomplete without mentioning the song ‘Dream of You’. This K-pop collab between Chungha and R3HAB was seductive, addictive, and sassy. This single can be found in the album Querencia.

Track ‘Who do you love is from the album ‘All about you’ by Monsta X. The R&B vibed track is soft and extremely charming. French Montana adds a Hip-Hop element to the track and gives it more crunch.

• Epik High – Born Hater

Epik High’s Born Hater track from 2014’s album Shoebox is a treasure with multiple artists featuring in it. It has Rapper Beenzino, Rapper Verbal Jint, B.I., Bobby, and Mino. The song has 90s hip-hop vibes and deals with haters.

• IU – Palette

IU’s Palette track from 2017’s album with the same name is a healing track. It features G-dragon from BigBang and covers the self-acceptance of the artist. Who finally feels like she knows herself a bit better and has found happiness in it.

• BTS – Come Back Home

BTS has done many collabs’ but one of the most mindblowing was 2017’s Come Back Home with the first boyband of K-pop Seo Taiji and Boys. They performed together during Seo Taiji’s 25 Timetravel concert. Two artists with the same impact and values but from two different times came together with this.

3. Girl Group x Boy Group

• Girl’s Generation x 2 PM

During 2009’s MAMA award show SNSD and 2 PM collab on stage for Love Song Medley. They did a funny skit which is very entertaining to watch. Recently, Junho from 2 PM and Yoona from SNSD  collab again on the popular song Senorita and left fans in shambles from excitement.

• Sunmi x Taemin

During 2019’s MAMA award show solo artists Sunmi and Shinee’s Taemin gave a breathtaking performance on their songs Gashina and Move which are their massive hits. Nothing could have been sexier.

• Seulgi x Taeyong

MAMA once again provided a memorable night when Red Velvet’s Seulgi and NCT Dream’s Taeyong did a seductive collab on the songs I Just and Around in 2017. The chemistry between the two was powerful enough to spark dating rumors.
