What is Total War: PHARAOH all about?
Now that the old Pharaoh is dead, the people of Egypt are scrambling to find a new leader who will guide them to prosperity and victory. Total War returns to history’s roots and takes players on a captivating journey through what it’s like leading an empire and fending off enemy forces trying to take over your territory.
The game features three cultures, with eight playable factions to choose from:

- Bay

- Suppiluliuma
Total War: PHARAOH also introduces Campaign Customization in the franchise. With this feature, players can lose themselves in the immersive experience Total War: PHARAOH provides. Players can access various campaign customization options, allowing them to personalize the game’s mechanics to their liking.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a hardcore or casual player. The upcoming game definitely has something for every gamer who enjoys such strategy games.
Minimum and Recommended Requirements
As of writing, the Steam and Epic Games Store page for Total War: PHARAOH has not released the official system requirements for the game. However, based on the latest DLC release from Total War, we have a rough idea of the minimum and recommended specs to run it.

Platforms and Release Date
Like previous Total War releases, PHARAOH will only release on the following platforms: PC and macOS. There are currently no plans from Sega and Creative Assembly to release the game on consoles. After it launches for the PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, the game will also be released for Mac users.
Other platforms where Total War games have been released were Android, iOS, and Linux, so it’s possible PHARAOH will follow suit.
Total War: PHARAOH has a release date of October this year, but Creative Assembly is yet to provide an exact date. They will launch the digital version of the game first before the physical edition hits the shelves of video game retailers later this year.
- The physical standard edition will contain a digital download code for Total War: PHARAOH and other freebies for fans. It includes the Avatar of the Gods Cosmetic Pack, the Heart of the Shardana Cosmetic Pack, and a double-sided poster.
- The digital download code included in the physical edition can only be redeemed via Steam.
