In season 1 and the film, we enjoyed the sweet fellowship and rivalry between Minato and Shu. However, now it’s time for a new opponent. Unlike what we expected this new rival Eisuke Nikaidou, is more like an old friend from Minato, Shu, and Seiya’s past.

  • The above image features Eisuke Nikaidou and his teammates at Tsujimine High. Eisuke is the boy’s upperclassman from Kirisaki High School. But now, he is now a student at Tsujimine High and a member of its kyudo club.
  • Eisuke was a senior in middle school, so he definitely has better skills than others. This guy seems like the real deal Minato and the others will have to face next.

Will Eisuke play a greater role in the next season?

Based on the trailer, Eisuke appears to be a haughty and arrogant guy. But he’s aware of his exceptional archery skills.

Moreover, the next season will be based entirely on making Eisuke step down from his high ego and work harder on himself. Seeing how Minato and Shu are constantly improving, Eisuke should do the same to beat those capable of outperforming him.

It seems to be season 2 of Tsurune will be looking wild so far. Not only are the issues between Seiya and Shu unsettled, yet there will likewise be another factor that could disturb the already scarce peace.

Let’s just hope that Minato’s target panic doesn’t return again after frictions arise between his friends.
