Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

The Uncharted series is one of the most-appreciated PlayStation Exclusive series of all-time. The latest installment in the series, Uncharted 4 released back in May 2016, and an expansion for the same is on its way.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is an upcoming expansion for Uncharted 4, with a completely different plot, although we’re expecting some twists and turns later in the game. Check out our editorial piece on the game to know more.

Enough of unrelated information and back to the main point. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy review codes are currently going out, and the file size has been revealed. The file size of the complete game is 44.7GB, which is too big for an expansion alone.

The original game was 48GB. The expansion alone being 44.7GB clearly indicates its bringing a lot of features with it.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will have a resolution of 1440p and have HDR support which most likely bumped the overall size up straight away compared to Uncharted 4. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has 4K textures for use on PS4 Pro, and that’s a key contributor for such a large file size.

The length of the expansion is not even close to that of Uncharted 4 as Naughty Dog confirmed already. According to speculations, the game might also include a Multiplayer mode, but that’s something I highly doubt.
