Valorant Abyssal bundle: Is it worth it? + December Night Market schedule

Valorant Abyssal bundle Is it worth it + December Night Market schedule - Cover

After this year’s Give Back bundle has reached its end on the Valorant store, a new skin collection is now up for grabs. The Abyssal bundle is the latest skin bundle available in Valorant, and it’s perfect for matches on Pearl! But with the December Night Market coming soon in Valorant, you may be wondering: is it worth it to get the Abyssal collection in Valorant? Or should you save your Valorant Points for other skins you can get during the Night Market? Keep reading to find out more!

The new Abyssal bundle takes Valorant players into deep waters once more

Someone over at Riot Games clearly loves anything related to marine life. Players were delighted with the guns included in the bundle when the Neptune skin collection was released.

  • The Neptune Vandal, even though it didn’t have a Finisher, is one of the skins for the Vandal that is highly sought-after. Some Valorant content creators also call it the ‘Bloop Bloop’ or ‘Squirt Squirt’ skin because of the firing animations and sound effects that mimic that of water squirts
  • Another reason many players want the Neptune skins is the sight of fish swimming in a mini aquarium on your gun. It’s an adorable way to relieve some stress when gunfights can get too intense

If you’re a fan of aquatic-themed skins in Valorant, you should look at the Abyssal bundle! Unlike the Neptune collection, the Abyssal guns feature vibrant yet comforting hues in their designs. For players looking to get this bundle, make sure to equip it with Harbor on Pearl. Paired with the latest Controller agent’s aquatic abilities and Pearl’s overall ambience, you’ll send your enemies sleeping with the fishes with the Abyssal bundle.

Is it worth it?

Valorant’s latest Abyssal skin bundle features skins for 4 guns and an exclusive axe melee. The entire bundle will cost you 5,100 VP, and you’ll get the melee called ‘Caeruleus’ for free. However, you also have the option to choose just one skin from the bundle.

Guns in bundle

  • The gun skins in the latest bundle are in the Deluxe tier. If you choose to get just one of the skins, it will only cost you 1,275 VP. The Abyssal bundle features designs for 4 guns:
    • Sheriff
    • Guardian
    • Spectre
    • Phantom

Caeruleus Melee

  • As for the axe melee, it is not in the Deluxe tier like the gun skins. It is considered an Exclusive skin, but its price is significantly lower than the other Exclusive skins released in the game. For the Caeruleus axe melee, players only need to spend 2,550 VP to get it
  • Even though the bundle has Deluxe and Exclusive skins, it is not worth it, in our opinion. It’s different from the Neptune collection since these had Kill Banners and Animations, which you can purchase with your Radianite Points. The Abyssal collection is purely decorative, which means you’ll probably get tired of looking at it at some point
  • If you’re looking for decorative skins, you’re better off spending your VP on the Battle Pass instead. At least with a BP, you’ll get sprays, player cards, and various gun skins that don’t have special effects

When is the Valorant Night Market in December?

‘Tis the season to be jolly indeed, Valorant players! The Night Market is finally coming back on December 7, but Riot is making the holidays a little brighter for its players. Similar to how long the Night Market stayed in December last year, we can expect the deals to be available until early January.

  • This will give players plenty of time to save up for any deals they like in their Night Market. However, it’s important to remember that any skins released in the past two months will not be included in the Night Market pool this month. Better luck next time for players hoping to add the Ion Phantom to their collection!
  • Skins that will appear in your Night Market selection cannot be changed. Once you flip the cards over, the weapons will be available until the Night Market ends. Better get to saving your VP if ever something as good as a discounted Oni Phantom or Glitchpop Vandal shows up in your selection
