Misfits Gaming made the decision to venture into the world of competitive VALORANT with an all-female roster. 24Haven is the first VALORANT squad for Misfits Gaming, and they are now going by the name Misfits Black.

Misfits Gaming Group posted the announcement on their YouTube account through a music video. You can check out the announcement below:

Featured in the music video are the members of Misfits Black. The all-female group consists of Chloe Wang, Luna Ryan, Mady, Presley Anderson, and Vernina Gozum. Also joining them are their manager from 24Haven, Alex Li, and coach Chris Yong.

This will be Misfits Gaming’s first-ever VALORANT squad but the team is no stranger to VALORANT competitions.

Their latest competitive stint for VALORANT was when they were still 24Haven. They placed fourth in Pittsburgh Knights Sakura Cup #5, failing to secure a slot after their 0-2 game against Polaris.

24Haven has also participated in both the 2021 and 2022 VCT Game Changers Series. They were hopeful in the 2022 VCT Game Changers Series but the team was not able to secure a spot in the main event for Game Changers. Sadly, they were nudged out of the competition by Complexity GX3 and Polaris in the Game Changers’ qualifying stage.

The next VCT Game Changers event for North America will start on March 31. It’s likely Misfits Black will compete, and this is the perfect opportunity for them to show what their team is capable of. If you liked the song in their music video, it’s available to stream on Spotify.
