A new job listing for Valorant hints at a possible version for the PlayStation and Xbox. After releasing in 2020, Valorant is only available on one platform as of now. The popular PC FPS game may be coming to consoles sooner than we think. Read on to find out more.

Riot Games has shown in the past that they want Valorant on PlayStation and Xbox

After Valorant was initially released back in 2020, Riot Games didn’t shy away from expressing their desire for a console port. Given the game’s massive success on the PC alone, it’s no surprise that they want to reach more players by making a console version.

However, Riot never updated eager fans on whether they’re pushing through with a console port for Valorant or not.

Riot recently posted a job listing that hints at Valorant coming to consoles

In the job listing, Riot indicates that they are looking for someone to fill the role of a Senior Game Designer for Valorant. Although it’s normal for any game to have a senior designer, what makes this job listing interesting is what is detailed in its description. Read an excerpt from the job listing below.

“As a Senior Game Designer, you will design, tweak, and optimize the player experience,” it opened before adding the following. “Design and refine features, modes, and systems to help bring console game products to market.”

However, Riot Games hasn’t released any statement yet regarding a console port of Valorant. But things are starting to look upon that aspect because of this job listing. If you want to check out the entire job listing, you can learn more about it here.
