Valorant Patch 5.05, What’s new? + Latest Leaks

Valorant Patch 5.05, What's new + Latest Leaks - Cover Picture

With the Valorant Champions Tour 2022 still ongoing, Riot has released a small patch for the game. However, there are no important changes available in Valorant with Patch 5.05 aside from a new bundle and some changes. Previous Valorant leaks pointed to an unknown agent called Mage. However, there hasn’t been an update on the agent since then.

Here are all the new things available in Valorant now that the 5.05 patch is online. It’s important to note that the Valorant Champions Tour 2022 is still active. So Riot cannot make changes to any Maps or Agents in the game.

The new Valorant Patch 5.05 focuses on quality of life, overall gameplay updates, and bug fixes

As we mentioned, the Valorant Champions Tour 2022 in Istanbul is still ongoing. So Riot cannot make map changes or make changes to any of the current Agents because it will interfere with the VCT. However, they decided to focus on improving the overall gameplay in Valorant with the new patch released today.

Episode 5 Act 2 receives its second patch today. Riot surprisingly decided to take their time in giving out more details about the rumored new Agent, Mage. For this patch, players get quality of life improvements through the social systems and gameplay of Valorant.

Moreover, there is a new bundle available in the store. Surprisingly, the official account of Valorant revealed the new bundle just hours after it was leaked. In previous leaks, it always took Riot some time to follow up on leaks.

With that being said, it seems Riot is cracking down more on leaks and trying to stay one step ahead of leakers. Here’s everything you need to know about Valorant’s 5.05 patch.

The new Kohaku and Matsuba bundle from previous Valorant leaks is now available

As for the new bundle, it takes inspiration from the koi fish in Japan. This was one of the many Valorant leaks. However, Riot was quick to catch up and they officially announced the new skin bundle in Valorant after a few hours.

The following weapons have skins in this bundle:

  • Classic – Kohaku & Matsuba
  • Judge – Kohaku & Matsuba
  • Phantom – Kohaku & Matsuba
  • Operator – Kohaku & Matsuba
  • Melee – Kohaku & Matsuba (Fan type)

This is one of the many bundles inspired by Japanese culture. Moreover, the variants for each gun are something we’d like to add to our collection.

And if you’re having second thoughts about getting this skin bundle in Valorant, check out the melee fan first and then decide whether it’s worth it or not.
