With the release of a new Agent, this game has also received new map improvements for Bind and Breeze, which include changes to the landscapes as well as new cover locations. Here are the patch notes for update 4.0.

Neon, the newest Agent to join the Duelist category, has been added to Update 4.0. Neon, who is Filipino, is all about speed, according to Riot, and “surges ahead at astounding speeds, firing bursts of bioelectric brightness as soon as her body generates it.”

As a result, the developer has imposed an Account Level requirement for competitive play, requiring new players to reach level 20 before being allowed to queue for ranked games. Those who have not yet attained account level 20, but have previously played ranked, will be permitted to participate.

Weapon updates 

  • Right-click hitboxes have been increased by 1.5 times. Left-click hitboxes are now somewhat larger and have a slightly longer range than right-click hitboxes.
  • The targets closest to the center of your knife assaults will be hit first, allowing you to maintain precision if necessary.
  • Bonus: When chopping apart walls with a knife, you now get rapid feedback (predicted on the client side)
  • At earlier stages of the bullet, there is a chance of firing error.
  • Instead of errors occuring at bullets four, seven, and 10 (in firing order), they will occur at bullets three, six, and eight.
  • When running/jumping/on ascender, increased pitch and yaw (vertical and horizontal) recoil multipliers from 1.25 to 1.5.
  • Bullet count was reduced by eight >>> five bullets due to yaw (horizontal) switching when spraying.
  • Reducing the time it takes to alter yaw from 0.24 to 0.18 seconds.
  • The time it takes to switch yaws (horizontal movement) again while spraying is shorter, therefore it happens more frequently.
  • Spin-up has been removed.
  • The firing rate rose from ten to thirteen.
  • On ADS, the penalty for firing rate has been removed (Aiming Down Sight)
  • Before it starts a recovery curve, an extra bullet was added.
  • The hip firing rate increased by 9.5 percent >>> 10 percent.
  • Burst fire recovery improved from 0.4 to 0.35.
  • When a weapon is re-fired before the Gun Recovery Time for that weapon has expired, inaccuracy is accumulated. Lower recovery times should increase the efficiency of burst fires.

Map Updates

  • Short A’s double stack of cover has been altered to remove a very effective one-way smoke spot that made approaching the area a little too tough for Attackers.
  • Sentinels will still be able to choke the area, but the new layout should give attackers pressing in more alternatives.
  • There’s also a new, little bench for a change of pace when taking that first look.
  • The A Main bottleneck has been widened, and 50/50s have been eliminated (where you must choose one of two locations an opponent may be located)
  • When playing around A Main, this should give defenders additional alternatives. It also eliminates the 50/50 rule when entering and departing the cave, allowing you to push more methodically.
  • In the cave, added a stack of two crates.
  • This gives attackers moving into the cave some shelter while also offering defenders more alternatives for contesting the space.
  • A Site’s back cover was adjusted, and the pool was expanded to the far wall.
  • Defenders should have a safe spot to retreat to and additional cover on retakes as a result of the cover changes.
  • Extending the pool should make it more enjoyable to play in this area.
  • The pool’s new shape necessitates the expansion of the plant site.
  • In the middle of the room, a curving wall was adjusted.
  • This modification streamlines the area and eliminates the superfluous pocket.
  • On B Site, put cover to the pillar, a new wall to block off the back site, and a stack of crates to B Wall.
  • The pillar’s new cover opens up new pre- and post-plant possibilities.
  • The revised back site eliminates the head peek to B Main while also providing new cover for players to work with. When falling back and retaking, this new cover should come in handy.
  • The new crate stack limits some angles from B Main, provides you more options when holding or retaking, and should help break up some uncomfortable fights that can happen on thin walls.
  • The door on A can’t be reactivated until it’s completely open or closed.

  • The Signature Kill Counter was not updating visibly due to a bug.
Esports Features
  • Coaches should no longer have issues shifting targets with number keys and + mouse clicks failing on occasion.
