Actor Daniel Radcliffe and actress Erin Darke are parents now. The American actress, and the Harry Potter actor are longtime partners and recently welcomed their first child together.

The happy news that the couple had welcomed their first child was shared by Radcliffe’s representative. The baby’s name, gender, and date of birth have not been made public, though.

The duo recently welcomed their first child. The information was confirmed to People by a spokesman for the Harry Potter actor. On Monday, April 25, the agent for the English actor gave numerous media outlets confirmation of the information.

However, the baby’s sex hasn’t been made public yet. Neither the day nor the hour that the child was born. Although, the couple was sighted in New York City on April 25 pushing a stroller. Radcliffe wore a t-shirt, jeans, a face mask, a cap, and a casual outfit.

In March, 2023, Eric Darke, 38, and Daniel Radcliffe, 33, were photographed in New York City. In the photos, Darke’s baby belly was seen peeking out from behind her sweatshirt. After this incident, rumors spread that they were about to be parents. The couple then revealed to Entertainment Tonight that they were indeed expecting their first child.

Since they first connected in 2012, Daniel and Darke have been dating. Radcliffe acknowledged his relationship with Erin Darke in October 2013. Later, at the Tony Awards in June 2014, the pair made their red carpet debut.

In 2021, the couple once more collaborated when Darke starred in Radcliffe’s TBS series Miracle Workers’ third season.

At the age of 12, Daniel Radcliffe gained enormous popularity as the titular character in the Harry Potter series. In 2001, he was first chosen for the role of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. After that, Daniel continued to make appearances in films based on J.K. Rowling’s novels.

Recently, the actor starred in Weird: The Yankovic Story. He also received a BAFTA nomination for the same.

Darke, on the other hand, is well recognized for her part in the 2015 television series Good Girl Revolt. She recently appeared in The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel on Prime Video.

Radcliffe opened up about his partner for the first time in 2020. It would be “a hell of a story to tell our kids one day,” he told People.

He also described how he met his partner while working on the set of 2012’s Kill Your Darlings. Continuing, he added, “Because of what our characters do with each other,” referencing their love-making scene. “Our characters are meeting and flirting with each other, so there is this kind of sweet record of us just meeting for the first time and flirting.”

The relationship between Radcliffe and Darke spans more than 10 years. They first met each other in 2012 while working together on the film Kill Your Darlings. However, they rarely appear on the red carpet and are infamous for keeping their romance a secret. “I’ve got a really good life,” Daniel talked about his relationship to People in 2022. “I’ve been with my girlfriend for a decade. We’re really happy.”
