Wild Rift: Update 2.6 Release Date + Patch Notes

Wild Rift Update 2.6 Release Date + Patch Notes

League of Legends: Wild Rift update 2.6 is about to release soon and as expected, it is going to be a humungous upgrade. It will include a lot of new champion changes, item changes, gameplay changes, and bug fixes. It also brings along new champions, some new skins, new events, accessories, new items, and rewards. The expected release date for the update is 3rd December 2021. So, without wasting any time, let’s drive straight into it!

New Champions

Yes, this update of the Wild Rift brings along two new champions namely Kayle, The Righteous, and Morgana, The Fallen. Kayle and Morgana are just like the typical sisters born from the Aspect of Justice who just can’t seem to see eye to eye. So, we can expect typical sibling stuff like Gamora and Nebula dynamics from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Obviously, with the new update and new characters, come new events. First of all, to kick off the new characters, a Path of Justice event will be held. In this event, you can explore Kayle and Morgana’s rivalry, and you can grab either champion for free. Apart from this, the Wild Pass event will also take place where you can earn Hexplorer Shyvana and all the other goodies coming in.

New Items

Two new shield items and two new support items will be added to the game. Banshee’s Veil and Edge of Night are two spell shield items that will be arriving and you might know them from the PC version. They will help in protecting mages and assassins from pesky crowd control. Two brand new support items released in this update are Hextech Megadrive and Ixtali Seedjar!
