The customs authorities of the Cayman Islands revealed that the model was caught during her luggage check, and the amount of the drugs wasn’t alarming. One of Hadid’s spokespersons also disclosed that the model had purchased the drug legally in New York City. They added that she also has a medical license supporting the purchase.
- The representative further relented that possessing marijuana has been legal in the Cayman Islands since 2017. Due to this, she was cleared of the charges and enjoyed the rest of her stay on the island.
