The screenshot features three texts, allegedly sent by the woman involved in the incident. They were sent just hours after Majors’ arrest and claim that “this was not an attack.” The accuser also disagrees with all the charges.

Majors was arrested after police responded to a 911 call in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York City on March 25 at around 11 am. As per past reports, the female tenant accused him of strangulation and harassment, after a dispute.

The accuser is allegedly Majors’s girlfriend and she was trying to snatch his phone to check his text messages when the incident occurred. Police arrested the actor as per their protocol without any incident. However, according to recent disclosure, the accuser does not agree with the charges.

According to CNN, the texts are disclosed to clarify that the unnamed woman initiated physical force against Majors. Moreover, the accuser disavows the allegations of assault.

“I BEEN so sorry you’re in this position. Will make sure nothing happens about this,”

In the three texts, the woman confesses the police told her they are arresting Majors as a protocol. She adds that she has clarified it was her fault for grabbing Majors’ cell phone.

She also confirmed that there wasn’t any strangulation involved to the authorities and mentions that the origin of the 911 call was about her collapsing and not due to any kind of violence.

Moreover, she assures Majors that all of the above will be relented to the judge and there’s nothing to worry about.

In a previous statement, Jonathan Majors’ attorney Priya Chaudhry stated that he was arrested due to police protocol which demands arrests in certain situations.

Adding to this Chaudhry now states that the messages are released as a supplement to forthcoming evidence. Which is to prove that Majors is “completely innocent” and that he is “probably the victim” of the alleged assault.

“This forthcoming evidence includes video footage, witness testimony, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations,” Chaudhry said in a statement.

The accuser hasn’t confirmed if the messages are factually and contextually true. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Manhatten DA shares with CNN that the investigation is ‘active and ongoing.’
