They had some impressive wins in the past including 1st place at ESL One Manila 2016 and The Summit 5. In the grand finals, Wings defeated Digital Chaos by 4-1 and emerged as this year’s International Champions.

On the other hand, Digital Chaos had been a tough competition for the opponents as well. The team consists players from different countries, assembling together only for The International in March. Digital Chaos prepared themselves for a tough fight against world’s best Dota 2 Teams in a very short time. Although they were able to notch up some solid performances, they didn’t arrive the podium of any premier event. They arrived as the underdogs and will take home $3.4 Million.

The Grand Finals saw impressive picks from both the teams including Pudge, Timbersaw and Storm Spirit. Digital Chaos gave their best, winning the first match. However, they weren’t able to co-op with Wings’ aggressive gameplay & strategic picks. Wings then went on a run of three wins and finally claimed the Aegis.
