The subscription-based service Xbox Game Pass has added some new games to its library for the month of July 2023. Among these are two new titles coming on day one of their release. Let’s take a look at these two Day One releases on the Xbox Game Pass, as well as the other games included this July 2023.
Xbox Game Pass: Day One releases this July 2023
Exoprimal
Exoprimal is Capcom’s upcoming third-person shooter that has you fighting off hordes of dinosaurs while donning futuristic body armor called Exosuits. The game should be similar to titles like World War Z or Left 4 Dead, but instead of zombies, it is dinosaurs this time.
- According to the lore, the players take on the role of Exofighters and fight as they attempt to overcome a series of obstacles put forth by a malicious AI. Presumably, these challenges summon large groups of dinosaurs you need to repel.

- You can play as a team of five people with Exoprimal’s online multiplayer co-op mode. PvPvE is a gameplay feature, so occasionally, you may need to face off against real players in addition to the dinosaurs.
- The characters gain abilities depending on their classes. The game also boasts a great feature where players can incorporate the perks of a different class into their current character.
- In the game, players can purchase a Survival Pass for cosmetics like Exosuit skins, weapon skins, emotes, decals, tag emblems, etc.
- The game should appeal to Jurassic Park fans and dinosaur enthusiasts as it contains notable dinosaur species like Triceratops, Raptors, and the T-Rex.
Exoprimal will be coming to the Xbox Game Pass on July 18th, 2023.
Techtonica
Techtonica is a first-person factory automation game developed by Fire Hose Games. The game’s setting is on an underground world of an alien planet.
- From the trailer, we speculate that the game would contain resource gathering, crafting, and building as its main gameplay elements.
- It would be something close to a farming simulator where you can create a world of your choice.
- Techtonica has Co-op support that will allow players to play together.
The early access version of this game will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on July 18th, 2023.
