The Xbox Game Pass November session will bring in (As revealed by Microsoft) a total of 12 new additions to the Xbox Game Pass library. Subscribers of the gaming service can enjoy the games within the first two weeks of November 2022. As a tone of good news, one can enjoy 3 of these revealed 12 as early as yesterday. What’s new in Xbox Game Pass November 2022?
The first half of November 2022 will see about 10 games hitting the service, three of which have already been released. Leaving only 7 more to go for the first half. In the latter half of the month, two more games will be released. Starting from November 1, Xbox Game Pass subscribers could have their time playing The Legend of Tianding, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier – The Complete Season, and The Walking Dead: Michonne – The Complete Season.
Introducing the games released so far in November
- For the uninitiated, The Legend of Tianding features Liao Tianding a vigilante of Taipei City. A 2D sidescrolling beatmap as a Taiwanese outlaw fights through the state authorities with overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam? Take my credit card.
- Okay, the exaggerations aside, the game is sure to hit your interest if you’ve ever pleasured yourself in 2D gameplay. Although be mindful that the levels can feel a little overstretched at times.
Telltale’s The Walking Dead additions
- As for the other two, they are part of Telltale’s adaptation of The Walking Dead comic book by Robert Kirkman. Although Telltale has gone bankrupt during the production of The Walking Dead Final Season.
- For the Console-game pass users, both these were already available. The addition for November of these two titles is for PC Xbox Gamepass users.
What is The Walking Dead game about?
- The games are visually appealing story-based narrative drive choice-allowed games. The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is the third development in the series and prequel to The Walking Dead: Final Season, and features Clementine as the primary character.
- The Walking Dead: Michonne features a very likable character from the television series – Michonne and is a spin-off game.
- These games are played on an episode-by-episode basis, each episode consisting of about 2 hours of gameplay.
- Do not worry as the ‘Complete Season’ in the title indicates, both contain the complete episodes. (Usually 4, sometimes a total of 5.)
The structure of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass Release
Microsoft’s usual way of revealing new Xbox Game Pass games is done at the beginning of the first half of the month, followed by another reveal at the beginning of the second half. November 2022 will also not deviate from the same. It is notable that both Console and Gaming libraries are different. As such what may have been already released on Consoles may not be available on PC and vice versa.
What are the games only available on PC and in the console?
- Football Manager 2023, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, The Walking Dead: Michonne – The Complete Season, and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier – The Complete Season are the four games only planned for a PC release.
- Console library users, don’t worry. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will have a console release, although at a later date. The release was originally planned to happen simultaneously with PC but had to be delayed for numerous reasons.
- Whereas Vampire Survivors is the only game releasing for the console on November 10. VS has been available for PC users and is very well received so far, so look ahead for that too if you’re a console-only subscriber.
