At this year’s E3, Microsoft had plenty of surprises to deliver and Xbox One S was one of them. It is a redefined version of the per-existing Xbox One with amazing features.
The new ‘Xbox One S’ will be 40% slimmer, sleeker and smaller than Xbox One with an integral power supply and 2TB of storage. It will deliver 4K Ultra HD video output for Blu-Ray and stream content as well. For gaming, it’s unclear.
The Xbox One S is capable of holding HDR feature, found in many modern-day televisions. Along with it, an IR Blaster is included as well. It’s going to look cooler with the White variation.
The console is getting its own Wireless Controller with a brand-new streamlined design with quality texture grip. The controller is Bluetooth-ready and can be used for gaming on Windows 10 PCs, tablets and phones, with twice the wireless range.
Xbox One S is going to be more fun with Xbox’s Backward Compatibility which will let you play Xbox 360 classics on your brand new console. Xbox One S is available for pre-order at the Microsoft Store for $299 (500GB), $349(1TB) and $399(2TB) respectively.
Additionally, if you pre-order the Xbox One S from Microsoft Store, you’ll get a free Controller along with the one you’ll pay for. The console will hit stores by August 31.
