Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: All Great Fairy Fountain Location Guide

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom All Great Fairy Fountain Location Guide

Welcome, adventurers! Today, we’ll guide you on unlocking the Great Fairies in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You don’t need any story progression to start this process, so you can start as early as you want. All you need are your essential gear and inventory.

Great Fairy Fountain 1

Your first step is to head to the Lucky Clover Gazette at the Tabantha Frontier, west of Rito Village and northeast of Lookout Landing. Speaking to the editor there will kickstart the quest for a unique armor set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before proceeding, you need to gather three Pony Points. The points will be used to gain the Towing Harness, which is crucial for the quest.

  • This quest, when active, allows you to start your journey toward the Great Fairies.
  • You’ll find the Woodland Stable and the Ekochiu Shrine in the Northeast of Lookout Landing. Here, you’ll encounter the traveling musician.

  • You need to select a horse capable of the “Pull” ability. Not all horses can do this, so be careful with your selection. Once selected, attach the harness to your horse.
  • Return to the traveling musician who will tell you about a Great Fairy who wants to hear the violin. Unfortunately, the musician’s cart is broken, and they can’t reach the Fairy. Your task is to fix their towing cart and bring them to the Fairy.

Fix the Cart

You must grab two wheels and attach them to the cart. Repeat this on both sides.

  • Attach the Cart to Your Horse: Use the horse whistle to bring your horse closer and connect the towing hitch to the cart. Ensure the glue is correctly secured between the harness and the front of the cart.

  • Transport the Musician: Once the cart is ready, ride your horse back to the musician and get them on board.
  • Meet the Great Fairy: A short cutscene will play. After the performance, you’ll be introduced to Terra.

After meeting Terra, she’ll mark the locations of the remaining three Great Fairies on your map. However, you’ll have to visit them in a specific order.

Great Fairy Fountain 2

The following Great Fairy requires the Pyper. To find the Pyper, you must head to the Faron Grasslands to the stable and talk to Haite.

  • Pyper’s Quest: He accidentally lit a tree on fire and now needs ten fireflies to make the tree glow again.
  • Finding Fireflies: To find the fireflies, head to the woods nearby. Crouch down and don’t make sudden movements or spawn monsters. If you’re lucky, you’ll encounter a traveling merchant selling Sunset Fireflies, which can expedite the process.
  • Return to Pyper: After collecting the fireflies, speak with them and hand them over. Then, talk to Haite during the night. Piper will serenade her with a song, and the fireflies create a beautiful scene.

  • Head over to the Outskirt Stable: Seek out and speak with Mastro, who will express his gratitude for your company. However, your first task arises when the Great Fairy requests the presence of Pyper. Unfortunately, a rockslide has obstructed the path, and it’s up to you to rectify the situation.
  • Get an ATV: You will attach a carriage to an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV). Fortunately, most of the ATV is already assembled. Your job is to place the final wheel and align it properly. Ensure the control stick is properly aligned and all four wheels face the same direction.

  • Next, you must grab Breezer and place it on the ATV. It’s crucial to ensure Breezer isn’t attached to a wheel. Once that’s done, return to Mastro.
  • Follow the path up the hill, making a sharp right turn that leads you to the Great Fairy. From here, enjoy the beautiful melody played by Mastro. Congratulations! You’ve unlocked your second Fairy.

Great Fairy Fountain 3

  • Dueling Peaks Stable: The next part of your quest involves heading to Dueling Peak Stable. You’ll need to find a drummer this time to continue your journey.
  • Find Beats: Near Kakariko Village, you’ll find a drummer named Beetz (X: 2159, Y:-1383, Z:0109). He needs three Honeycombs to make honey crepes; you’ll need to find these for him.
  • Collect Honeycombs: You can find Honeycombs in various places, but the woods around Kakariko Village are particularly abundant. Shoot down the honeycombs from the trees and collect them for Beetz.

  • He will give you a silver rupee once you’ve given him the Honeycombs. He will then return with the violin, and they will play music for the Great Fairy.
  • Crossing the River with a Boat: Now, you’re tasked with creating a way for the boat to travel. The simple way to do this is to make a flat raft and put the carriage on top. You can grab one of the fans from a nearby pile of stuff and attach it to the carriage.
  • Building on the Raft: You must make the raft with the wood you gathered from the stable. Place two pieces on the outside for better handling of the water. Align the raft to make the process easier. Make sure to speak to the NPCs so you can put the carriage on top of the raft.

Great Fairy Fountain 4

Your next destination is the Fourth Great Fairy, located all the way north, near the Hebra mountains and the Pikida Stone Grove Skyview Tower. At the Snowfield Stable, you must find Eustus (X: -3668, Y: 0746, Z: 0136). He is situated at the Tabantha Frontier, next to the Piper Ridge.

  • Approach and meet Eustus, the horn player stuck in the hole. To help him out, you’ll need to assemble a contraption involving fans and hot air balloons.

  • The Hornist’s Dramatic Exit: Place two hot air balloons on opposing corners of a 4×4 metal plate. Install flame emitters inside the hot air balloons, ensuring they’re oriented upward. Next, grab two fans and place them on the opposite sides of the plate—attempt to center them for even balance.
  • Place the gadget atop Eustus’ carriage. Ensure the fans are facing away from you (about a 45-degree angle) and the carriage is as centered as possible. Once correctly set up, the carriage will have enough lift to break free. Release an arrow, and Eustus will be free to join you on your journey.

Snowfield Stable:

  • After unlocking Pyper and Eustus, they will guide you toward the Great Fairy amidst the snowy landscape. Your task here is to build and tow a roof to the Fairy’s location.
  • Building a roof: First, summon your horse with a towing hitch. Next, approach the building supplies and use the Ultrahand ability to place a piece of wood perfectly aligned on top of the carriage. After that, attach Breezer to the horse’s towing hitch. Once you have built the roof, talk to the Mastro to begin your journey up the mountain.

  • The journey to the Final Great Fairy is filled with potential enemies and mini-bosses. However, your goal is to refrain from engaging with them but to drive past swiftly. The main challenge here is ensuring the roof of the carriage remains intact.
  • If an enemy destroys the roof, the quest will fail, and you must restart. Maintain a good sprinting speed, and you should avoid any confrontations successfully.
  • With the completion of the quest, you can enhance your clothing to level number four. Additionally, the traveling quartet will now appear at all stables. Their live rendition of the stable song will play as you approach, adding a pleasant accompaniment to your adventures.
