Reacher

The Amazon Prime original series Reacher is based on the novel by Lee Child of the same name. The show, which came out in 2022, was commended because of Alan Ritchson’s fantastic portrayal of the retired military police Jack Reacher.

Arguably one of the best spy thrillers of the 2010s is no other than Person of Interest. Just imagine a former CIA agent and a software genius teaming up to make an uncanny duo of vigilantes to fight crime in their own ways. CBS’ Person of Interest just did that perfectly

Nikita

The 2010 adaptation of the 1990 French film, Nikita, stars Maggie Q as the titular character. Nikita is the perfect series to watch if you’re looking for a series featuring a femme fatale who can give you the action you need.

Before Ana De Armas (Ballerina) and Charlize Theron (Atomic Blonde), the award-winning actress starred as the femme fatale in the 2010 movie, Salt. Angelina Jolie portrays Evelyn Salt, a hardworking CIA agent, who was accused of being a Russian spy. With her name on the line, Salt is now on the run, trying to clear all the accusations once and for all. However, as the movie progress, everything becomes clearer and clearer.

The film received mixed reviews from critics but was generally well-received by audiences. In totality, this is not Angelina Jolie’s most memorable movie, but she did a great job as an action star.

The Bourne Identity

A botched assassination led to a secret agent’s memory getting wiped. The Bourne Identity, starring Matt Damon, marked the beginning of an amazing franchise. The Bourne series was based on the novels of the same name by Robert Ludlum. And, with its great success, the franchise received four more movies.

The story begins when Jason Bourne, a man who is found floating in the Mediterranean Sea loses all of his memory. Bourne soon realizes that he possesses a set of extraordinary skills and abilities, which he uses to uncover his true identity and the people who are after him. As he tries to piece together his past, he discovers that he was a highly skilled assassin working for the CIA, but now he is being hunted down by his former employers who want to eliminate him to cover up their own secrets.
