Ubisoft is in all probability working on a Far Cry 6, and recent rumors have suggested that Ubisoft is working on taking a different approach this time around, and will also be featuring Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito. Apart from that, there is little known about the game, however, a recent listing on the PlayStation store reveals a number of stuff players can expect from the game.

When will Far Cry 6 release?

Far Cry 6 will be releasing on February 18th, 2021, according to the PlayStation Store listing.

Will it release on the PS4 & Xbox One?

Yes, Far Cry 6 will be releasing on the PlayStation 4. While the Xbox One version hasn’t been confirmed yet, the presence of PS4 version pretty much confirms that.

Will PS4/ Xbox One owners get free upgrade to the PS5/Xbox Series X version?

Thankfully, the game’s store listing says that PS4 owners will be upgraded to the PS5 version for free. The same is expected for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions as well.

Where does the game take place?

Ubisoft is heading to the Yala, “a tropical paradise”. The game will be featuring varied terrain including jungles, beaches and cities.

Will it feature Giancarlo Esposito?

Yes, the game will feature Giancarlo Esposito as the dictator of Yara. Players will play as Dani Rojas who will set on a journey with his son Diego to liberate the lands of Yara.

What are the pre-order bonuses?

Players who pre-order the game will get the Discos Locos weapon and skin for Chorizo.
