The Diablo 4 Early Access Beta server went live on March 17 and fans seem to enjoy the franchise. As it plays out it’s RPG elements players are willing to hop on to the multiplayer and enjoy its co-op feature. But for that, you need to add your friends to the game and the article will discuss more of it. 

Diablo has boasted its co-op element in the RPG for years now and its new title holds on to the reputation. Players find it thrilling to fight off enemies in the vast world of Sanctuary and more so with a group of friends. Multiplayer breathes new life into the game which has attracted many people to the title. 

For someone trying out the game’s beta version, it can be a little tricky to hop on to the multiplier. Follow on as this guide will help you navigate through the game starting from adding your friends to jumping into the co-op mode.

To explore the RPG in multiplayer mode, the first thing players will have to do is add their friends with their Battle.net tag. The following steps will provide further information on how to do that. 

  • On the top bar of the game screen you will find an option that says “Social”, click on it.
  • Keep in mind that you need to know your friend’s BattleTag to add them as a friend. 
  • Now, click on the “Add Friend” option on your Friends List that popped up on the screen. 
  • Make sure they accept your friend request to see them on the list. 
  • Pick the friend that you want to play with and select “Invite to Party” or “Invite to Clan”. That is your call. 

By now your friend should be added and ready for the multiplayer escapades. It should be noted that the option to add your friend is available after you complete the prologue of Diablo 4. 

The availability of cross-platform makes the game’s co-op shine. Anyone can be added as long as their account is connected to Batlle.net.

Once players have added their friends to the game, they can experience the multiplayer together. Additionally, players can now enjoy the Diablo 4 couch co-op feature that allows for split-screen gameplay. You need to keep in mind that the feature is exclusive to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

The couch co-op allows two players to game on the same system. Anyone must own the Early Access Beta of the game to make it happen.

Diablo 4 will reward the duo with a bonus XP during the co-op. In a way, the multiplayer setup will help you level up faster.
