Dragon Type Pokemon – Where To Find In Pokemon Go

Dragon-type Pokémon can be notably difficult to catch for some players. These are some of the more difficult encounters to come across in the game, though some players get lucky and find them on a windy day near the water. It varies based on your luck.

It won’t take long for you to find Pokémon as you travel around the world in Pokémon Go. While playing, however, your position in the real world does matter. The closer you get to the water, for example, the more likely you are to come across a Water-type Pokémon.

Dragon-type Pokémon have also been spotted in parks, large city districts, and while exploring on windy days, according to some players.

You won’t be able to use any decoys to lead them to a trustworthy PokéStop, unfortunately. Alternatively, you can use incense to attract a variety of Pokémon to your location by activating it on your character.

The dilemma with this approach is that a large number of Pokémon will arrive at your location, many of which will not be Dragon-type. There are a few that are easier to obtain than others, including Kingdra, Bagon, and Gible.

Random Pokémon encounters are rewarded in some Random Research Tasks. You can get them by spinning PokéStops, which increases your chances of landing a Dragon-type without having to catch one in the wild, but it’s all luck.

There are no guarantees when it comes to obtaining Dragon-type Pokémon. Exploring your local area in the hopes of finding more Pokémon is a lot of trial and error. However, you should keep an eye out for a windy/foggy day, as this is when many players claim to have discovered it.
