Fortnite: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), How To Enable / Disable

Two-factor authentication is commonly accessible in most current accounts and gadgets since it protects the user from hackers. However, it does not always perform as intended and can occasionally create an issue.

Disable Two-factor Authentication

To disable two-factor authentication, go to Epic Games’ official website. Once inside, click on the user icon in the upper right corner of the screen. After which, choose from the menu, Accounts.

You will be directed to another part where you must select the option labeled Password and Security from the list of options on the left side of the screen. To disable two-step authentication for all users, simply disable the box authentication you previously selected. All done.

You can enter the game or perform additional actions without having to prove your identity at any moment. However, this approach should not be continued indefinitely. The cost of not having that extra layer of protection should be in the mind of the user. Remember that Fortnite is not responsible for what happens to your account. It is therefore if your account is hacked, you will lose all of your progress.

Activate Two-factor Authentication

Please note that in order to activate TFA, you must first authenticate and validate your Fortnite account, which you can do by selecting the send verification email option under the authentication boxes.

And once you’ve received the email, you’ll need to click the link that appears. With that, you have everything you need to disable two-factor authentication and re-enable it.
