Genshin Impact 3.6 livestream confirmed the two new artifact sets that will be introduced to the game upon patch release. Nymph’s Dream is one of the aforementioned artifacts that could qualify as the best-in-slot for the future as well as the existing Hydro DPS unit in the game. Travelers will be able to farm these artifacts from a new domain in the desert expansion of the patch once it goes live on April 12

The Hydro artifact in the discussion will greatly enhance the equipping character’s elemental damage and ATK%. Tartaglia is one of the existing units that can utilize it to its fullest potential to get the maximum stack. Today’s guide will dive deeper into the best characters that can use the Nymph’s Dream artifact set on its release in Genshin Impact 3.6.

The Nymph’s Dream will be the one of the newest artifact set in the Genshin Impact from version 3.6. Players will be able to use it on Hydro-based DPS and sub-DPS characters to amp up their damage numbers. It is however essential to understand how to activate its passive to utilize its full potential.

The 2-Piece set bonus of the artifact set grants a +15% Hydro DMG bonus. While the 4-Piece passive will provide the equipping of a character in the game with a 7%/16%/25% ATK bonus on each stack. Additionally, they will gain a 4%/9%/15% Hydro DMG bonus respectively.

Now, a single stack can be achieved when Normal, Charged, Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst hit an enemy. The stacks are independent of each other with each lasting for 8 seconds. Lastly, there can be a maximum of three stacks active at a time.

1) Tartaglia

First up on the list is Tartaglia who is a potent Hydro DPS/ Rotational DPS who will be able to utilize the Nymph’s Dream artifact set from Genshin Impact 3.6. Its passive will boost his nuking capability significantly which will be vital for defeating enemies with high HP. Moreover, his kit will synergize well with the set allowing him to have 100% uptime on the stacks

The Hydro Fatui boasts a stance mechanic on his elemental skill and every attack in that state is counted as a normal or charged attack. This will effectively allow him to quickly gain 3 stacks increasing his damage exponentially. With the 4-Piece Nymph’s Dream artifact set, he will be super strong in the game’s Childe-national team.

2) Ayato

Kamisato Ayato is another great Hydro unit that can use the artifact set efficiently. His elemental skill is simplistic and his burst has a long duration that will make him a suitable candidate to activate the 4-Piece set bonus. The ATK% and Hydro DMG bonus increase from the passive will greatly help him deal increased damage during his field time.

The Boba-loving gentleman exhibit quick successive Hydro slashes under Takimeguri Kanka state. This will allow him to quickly obtain all 3 buffs from the artifact making him a deadly Hydro DPS in Genshin Impact.

3) Xingqiu

Lastly, on the list is Xingqui who is arguably the most used 4-star character in the game. His dominant role as a sub-DPS unit has made its way into multiple team compositions. The Nymph’s Dream artifact set will work flawlessly on him as he can obtain the multiple stacks with ease.

Usually, players equip him with a Sacrificial Sword that refreshes the cooldown of his elemental skill. Using his ability twice followed by the ultimate will allow players to amp up his damage from the stacks within seconds. The off-field damage of the Raincutter is significant which will further increase once he obtains the new Hydro artifact from Genshin Impact 3.6.
