How To Beat

  • Maguu Kenki’s phantom clone jutsu-like technique gives him both offensive and defensive advantages.
  • The copycats of the samurai can share their overall HP, making it tough for gamers to defeat the boss. In order to beat Maguu Kenki, gamers must destroy both the host and his clone. Simply destroying the host will not eliminate the clone!
  • All ranged attacks will be blocked by Maguu Kenki’s mask. To bring it down, gamers must use close combat attacks.

FIRST PHASE:

  • During the initial phase, the monster has four abilities, all of which are relatively safe and easy to avoid. Maguu Kenki strikes with AoE cryo damage once it releases its mask at you.
  • Maguu Kenki may also inflict Anemo damage by shoving his mask across in front of him. A flurry of sword strikes and a sword wipe are the other two abilities, both of which can damage nearby players.

SECOND PHASE:

  • The second phase begins with one of its strikes, which involves slashing the ground with its sword and unleashing a large Anemo burst. Because this attack’s load is rather lengthy, you will have plenty of time to detect it and flee the AoE.
  • Another assault is when Maguu Kenki summons a replica, both of whom launch a torrent of sword strikes at the player’s position. If you’re not cautious, this assault will quickly destroy your active character, so soon you see it approaching, simply run perpendicular to it.

  • Lastly, Maguu Kenki may generate a vortex around itself, pulling in players as it gears up to perform two AoE slices, the first inflicting Anemo damage, and the latter dealing Cryo damage.
  • Melee characters are particularly vulnerable to this, so if you run out of stamina throughout that attack, you’d best have I-frames prepared.
