Want to put yourself to the ultimate test in God of War: Ragnarok? How about trying your hand at defeating some of the toughest mini-bosses in the game? The Berserker Gravestones hold some of the strongest mini-bosses we’ve ever come across in God of War: Ragnarok. If you’re having trouble finding them, you’ve come to the right place! Here are all the locations for the Svartalfheim Berserker Gravestones in God of War: Ragnarok.

What are Berserker Gravestones in God of War: Ragnarok?

You can find these Gravestones in every Realm in God of War: Ragnarok. After obtaining the Sword Hilt during The Word of Fate main story quest in the game, you can challenge the malevolent spirits residing in these gravestones. All of the Berserkers serve King Hrolf Kraki, who will be the final Berserker you can fight in God of War: Ragnarok.

These mini-boss battles are challenging which is why it is recommended to only take them on after finishing the game. By challenging them, you’ll obtain powerful equipment such as the Berserker Armor Set as well as a powerful relic. Other rewards include crafting resources and Hacksilver.

Berserker Gravestones in Svartalfheim

There are three Berserker Gravestones in the realm of Svartalfheim. You can find them in Nidavellir, Alberich Island, and around the Jarnsmida Pitmines.

In this location, the enemy in the Berserker Gravestone is called Hardrefill the Callous. You can return to this area at any point during your journey in God of War: Ragnarok, but one of the most common ways to encounter this Berserker is after you obtain the Draupnir Spear.

Additionally, you can also find Durlin near the beach if you’re just coming down from The Forge. Talk to him to trigger the Favor called “Spirit of Rebellion” if you haven’t completed this yet. Triggering this Favor is also handy for the next location of the Berserker Gravestones in Svartalfheim.

On Alberich Island, you will encounter Beigadr the Feared when you interact with the Berserker Gravestone. Similar to other Berserkers you may have encountered in God of War: Ragnarok, they do not hold back during the battle. If you successfully defeat Beigadr the Feared, here are the rewards you’ll get:

  • Asgard’s Might
  • 25 Bonded Leather
  • 25 Shattered Runes
  • 2 Tempered Remnants

  • One tip we can give you during your fight with Starolfr the Troublesome and Bodvar the Fierce is to focus on one enemy first
  • Compared to Bodvar the Fierce, you should focus on defeating Starolfr the Troublesome first because they are easier to damage.

After defeating both enemies in this Berserker Gravestone, you will receive the following rewards:

  • Hind of the Nine Realms
  • Gale Flame
  • 5 Tempered Remnants
  • 80 Bounded Leather
  • 75 Shattered Runes

Complete the nine Gravestones to unlock the final boss

There are nine Berserker Gravestones in God of War: Ragnarok. The tenth and final one will only be unlocked after you fight the other Berserkers found in the following locations:

  • The Lake of Nine, Midgard
  • Nidavellir, Svartalfheim
  • Alberich Island, Svartalfheim
  • Jarnsmida Pitmines, Svartalfheim
  • The Barrens, Alfheim
  • The Forbidden Sands, Alfheim
  • Pilgrim’s Landing, Vanaheim
  • The Sinkholes, Vanaheim
  • Mist Fields, Niflheim

Once you take care of the Berserker Gravestones in this location, you now have the chance to fight against King Hrolf Kraki. His Gravestone is located at King’s Grave in the realm of Midgard. After defeating him, you’ll finish the Favor called ‘Fit For A King’ and obtain a powerful relic.
