Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home connectivity is finally live. This gives you the ability to transfer your Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home. Many players, however, are facing issues regarding how to link Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home. Follow these steps and your problem will be solved in 5 easy steps.
How To Link Pokemon Go To Pokemon Home
Following are the easy steps –
- Connect both Pokemon Go and Pokemon Home to your Nintendo Account
- Make sure you’re using the same Nintendo Account on both apps
- Open Pokemon Go > Settings > Pokemon Home > Send Pokemon
- Now Open Pokemon Home > Options > Pokémon GO Link > Receive
- Your transferred Pokemon will successfully show in Pokemon Home
Let me explain the process if you’re still confused. First off, you’ll need a Nintendo Account. If you have one already, you can skip this step. If you don’t have one, click here to create a new account.
Second, you need to connect Pokemon Go to your Nintendo Account. Click here to know-how. Next, you need to connect Pokemon Home to your Nintendo Account as well. Make sure you’re using the same Nintendo Account on both apps.
Once done, open Pokemon Go > Settings > Pokemon Home > Send Pokemon. Charge your GO Transporter. Select the Pokemon you want to transfer and then hit Next. Confirm the Pokemon and the GO Energy required and hit Transport.
Finally, you’ll need to receive the transferred Pokemon in Pokemon Home. Open Pokemon Home and you’ll be asked “Would you like to receive them?” Hit Yes. Tap on “View Transferred Pokemon” and tap on “Receive Pokemon”.
If you don’t see any box asking “Would you like to receive them?”, simply go to Pokemon Home > Options > Pokémon GO Link > Receive. It’s the same thing.
