Vindicators in Minecraft are melee pillagers who can be found in village raids, pillager patrols, and woodland mansion structures, holding axes. They will be ready to attack and cause damage. However, there is a way to pacify a Vindicator and make it harmless.
HOW TO PACIFY
- Players will have to let the Vindicator shatter and destroy its own weapon. This means that players will have to take the attacks, while also trying to avoid damage. This will require a number of shields, which will have to be continuously used to defend from the attacks.
- Iron axes, which Vindicators carry, have a durability of 250 in the Java Edition, so it will take quite some time for the ax to break and shatter. Once this happens, the Vindicator will fight with its bare hands, but will not be able to deal as much damage to a well-equipped player.
- Players can now move the Vindicator to a safe place by placing them on a boat and pushing it away, or getting into the boat and moving it. When players find or build a place to keep their Vindicator, they can lead them into that area and then destroy the boat. This will trap them in a particular area and prevent them from moving anywhere else.
- Players can place a nametag on the Vindicator or the mob to make sure that they do not de-spawn. This will make the Vindicator unique and will not disappear, and will remain in the world.
