In Pokemon GO, gamers can acquire and use a variety of unique powerful Legendary Pokemon. While most of these Pokemon are well-known, Mewtwo, a Pokemon widely recognized for its strength and backstory, is among the most famous. There are multiple ways for players to currently obtain Mewtwo, but some players may have already used up some of these methods!
Mewtwo Raid
- Mewtwo is presently scheduled to appear in raids in July 2021. For a long time, Mewtwo and Armored Mewtwo have been part of the scheduled rotation of 5★ raids in Pokemon GO. So, if you don’t get a chance to catch up this month, there will almost certainly be more chances in the longer term.
- Mewtwo was also featured in a Pokemon GO Tour occasion in February 2021 and was one of the prizes for beating Team Rocket in October of 2020. There’s also a likelihood that a Mega Mewtwo evolution will appear in Pokemon GO in the near future.

Gamers will have a small period of time after beating the raid to capture the fallen Mewtwo. Capture them with Premier balls and Razz Berries before Mewtwo vanishes.
