Pokemon: Where To Find Rare Candy, All Locations

Rare Candies have been there since the first generation of Pokemon, and they’ve returned in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl!

These special treats increase Pokemon to the next level automatically, allowing players to better balance their teams and give their favorites a boost.

Rare Candy Locations

  1. Mt. Coronet A – Enter the mountain from the east via Route 211. Go north and use Strength on the obstructing boulder. There should be three breakable rocks to the left that require Rock Smash. They are blocking a path that leads to a Rare Candy.
  2. Wayward Cave – Enter the cave and hit the first rock on the left with Rock Smash. Return to the north and use Rock Smash on the next rock. Return to the north and then west to discover another rock to smash. Continue west after breaking it, then south. Break the next rock, then head west, then south. The Rare Candy has made it past the two trainers in front of her.
  3. Eterna City – Exit the city via the south route and speak with the researcher inside the exit building. If players have enough Pokemon in their Pokedex, he will gift them a Rare Candy.
  4. Route 218 – Exit Jubilife City through the west exit. Use Surf on the water to get onto the dock where a trainer is standing. Hug the northern cliffs and go straight until you can return to land. A Rare Candy will be present.
  5. Grand Underground A – While on Iron Island, visit the Grand Underground. In the northeast corner of the Spacious Cave, you’ll find a Rare Candy.
  6. Grand Underground B – While visiting Ramanas Park, see the Grand Underground. There is a Rare Candy near the north wall of the Spacious Cave.
  7. Solaceon Ruins – Take the stairways to the upper right, lower left, upper right, upper left, upper left, upper left, and lower left after entering the ruins. This will take them to a room with several goods, including a Rare Candy.
  8. Route 214 – From Veilstone City, go the route and use Surf to cross the pond to the right. A Rare Candy can be found across the water.
  9. Victory Road A – To access the locations that require Surf, descend the stairs. To go around the psychic trainer, use the water and continue toward the south wall. Another set of stairs will eventually be discovered, leading to a Rare Candy.
  10. Route 224 – Take the left way through the trees after exiting Victory Road. Once you’ve passed the boulder in the water, proceed east on the water. On a small plot of land, there is a Rare Candy.

  11. Route 225 A – Enter at the route’s southern entrance. Continue north until you reach two little trees on your right that you can cut down. Under the bridge, they’re trailed by a Rare Candy.
  12. Route 230 – On the east end of the enormous island covered in tall grass, there lies a breakable rock. A Rare Candy can be found past this rock.
  13. Stark Mountain – Go down the main steps in the main chamber, then turn west and down those stairs. Take the west stairwell to the top, then go south and down the next set of west stairwells. Begin from the bottom and work your way up the outer rim of the hole. Continue on this path until you encounter two Ace Trainers. A stairway leads past them to a Rare Candy.

Hidden Rare Candies

  1. Mt. Coronet B – Continue down the path that leads to the visible Rare Candy, but travel north past the breakable rocks. The Underground Lake will be revealed in the next area, which will require Defog to see. Until you reach the north wall, hug the left wall. Between the normal rock and the breakable rock on the wall, there will be a concealed Rare Candy.
  2. Mt. Coronet C – There is a lone rock surrounded by dense grass near climbable cliffs on the snowy peaks of Mt. Coronet. This rock contains a Rare Candy.
  3. Mt. Coronet D – Carry on from the previous Rare Candy by descending the south climbable wall and entering the cave on the right. Take the climbable wall to the east, then the one to the north. Break the first breakable rock that gets in your way, then shatter the one to the right. To receive a Rare Candy, interact with the normal rock to the right of the now-broken rock.
  4. Valor Lakefront – Enter the resort and utilize Rock Climb to descend the cliff on the resort’s southeast side. Use Rock Climb once more on the rock to the right, then twice more on the two cliffs to the north. At the dead-end, there is a Rare Candy.
  5. Route 207 – To get to Route 207, take the north exit in Oreburgh City. Take the bike path up the mountain and ascend until you reach the hiker beside the bridge. The Rare Candy is on the hiker’s left-most tile on the rock.
  6. Galactic Veilstone Building – Enter the building and take the stairs to the second floor. In the room with the stools, use the lone teleporter. Ascend the stairwell. Take the teleporter in the middle of the hall. Continue to the left until you reach the crates. The invisible Rare Candy may be found below the second box on the left-most tile.
  7. Great Marsh – After entering the Great Marsh and boarding the train to “Area 1,” continue west until you reach the map’s northwest corner. This tile contains Rare Candy.
  8. Route 212 – Take the western exit out of Pastoria City and immediately continue north into the mud. The northwest extension of the mud puddle has a Rare Candy at the leftmost portion.
  9. Victory Road B – On the second level of Victory Road, on the map’s southern end. It is located in the middle of three rocks that must be moved with Strength.
  10. Victory Road C – To continue traveling north, get beyond the series of stones in the room that requires Defog to see. There will be a pool of water between the two trainers. Continue east while surfing on the water. A Rare Candy is among the rocks on the right side of the pool.
  11. Route 225 B – There is a little patch of tall grass in front of the home on the path. A Rare Candy is in the grass patch’s curve.
  12. Route 228 – There is an invisible Rare Candy between the route sign and the bike hill on the cliffside. It’s about two tiles higher than the bike slope.
