Street Fighter 6’s Ultimate Character Tier List!

Keep in mind that the game is not released yet. This means that do not completely rely upon this list. The Tier Lists in this article are made/suggested by SF6 pros or other beta testers who got the chance to play the game before its release.

We are already familiar with the roster of 18 playable characters SF6 will be bringing to us. Based on little-known knowledge of the character skillsets below, the Tier List contains the opinion of many Street Fighter beta players who compiled their own Tier Lists into one.

Street Fighter 6 beta - Character Tier List

S-Tier (Left → Right)

  • Manon
  • Dee Jay
  • Kimberly
  • Cammy

With what’s been revealed so far, players have speculated that the four characters mentioned above are the greatest picks for anyone starting with SF6 once released. Their character designs are beautiful, too. These four stand out from the rest in terms of their kit. However, before its official release, there may be minor changes that will affect it majorly. But, if you’re confused and looking for a main, these four are your go-to choices.

A-Tier (Left → Right)

  • Marisa
  • Ryu
  • Jamie
  • JP
  • Juri
  • Ken

According to many SF6 pros, these characters belong to the A-tier. Their movesets have a big potential when in the right hands that can be pushed pretty far to defeat even the S-tier characters easily. Who knows what Capcom changes before the release of the game?

B-Tier (Left → Right)

  • Zangief
  • Luke
  • Guile

Despite being placed at the B-tier, these are pretty strong characters. They are easy to master. With the game not even released yet and players making tier lists based on their experience in the beta version, B-tier isn’t a bad place to be. It’s likely they will climb up the list once the game is released and players discover their true potential.

C-Tier (Left → Right)

  • Lily
  • Blanka

Many concluded that, at first glance, these characters did not appear as impressive as the others. Some argued that they would definitely undergo significant transformations and improvements before SF6’s official release.

D-Tier (Left → Right)

  • E.Honda
  • Dhalsim

Pick these two only if you’re up for a challenge. With much greater difficulty in mastering these characters and not as impressive skill sets, they get placed in the D-tier by the fighting game community.

The conclusion to this SF6 Tier List is very simple if you ask us. With the game not out yet, and players making Tier Lists based on mere speculations on what the characters will be like once the game is released, do not rely on any tier list. After all, at the end of the day, the gamer’s strategy and willingness to win truly matters.

This SF6 Tier List was perhaps the one with the most comprehensive information and the one that made the most sense too. Placing some characters in certain tiers was easy because of their gameplay in earlier Street Fighter games. To read more about these characters, click here.
