Who is the TikTok prankster Mizzy? | Timeline of controversies

TikTok prankster prank Mizzy controversies

TikTok prankster Mizzy has been getting out of control, and the Metropolitan Police has finally arrested him. Mizzy’s repugnant pranks include stealing a woman’s dog, destroying library books, and intruding into strangers’ vehicles. The prankster, whose original name is Bacari Ogarro, is an 18-year-old Hackney, north London resident.

Mizzy made news for barging into a random family’s home with a gang of young men for a viral TikTok prank video. The deleted video shows the group entering through a gate and letting themselves inside. They paid no regard to scared women and children as they just strutted through the hallway. The video sparked massive outrage.

TikTok prankster Mizzy’s previous controversies

Problematic TikTok video prankster Mizzy has been arrested before for bothering orthodox Jews in London. In a video, he approaches a man at a bus stop and tries to leapfrog him. In another video, he rides a bike while wearing a traditional hat and shouts, “Guys, I’m a f*****g Jew.”

Mizzy has a history of doing similar pranks. Once, he went up to an unassuming older woman in a park, took her dog, and ran away. This was part of a video called ‘How to get a dog for free.’ There are more videos where he bothers women in public places like trains and parks.

The obnoxious TikToker went into a library just to ruin the books. He also rode an e-bike inside Sainsbury’s while security guards tried to stop him. In another video, he gets into the back of a man’s car and says it’s his Uber. When the man asks him to leave, he becomes aggressive.

Public outrage against TikTok prankster Mizzy

A former policeman had openly questioned why Mizzy was not in jail yet. Mizzy’s arrest is not a surprise as there is enough evidence to charge him based on his own videos.

While Mizzy’s ‘@madmanmizzy’ TikTok account was taken down, his YouTube channel, which had around 39,000 subscribers, seemed to be active. However, it was deactivated later because it broke the platform’s rules.

The issue had gone as far as UK MPs as they urged the Met police to take action against him. They believe that YouTube and TikTok should be held accountable for allowing such irresponsible videos. Officers are investigating the incidents and the people involved.

How did Mizzy respond to the controversies?

In response to the backlash, Mizzy released a video on YouTube. He showed little to no remorse. Mizzy said that he deliberately aimed to shock viewers as a means to grow his following. He even claimed that he had “manifested” this level of attention.

Mizzy said the negativity doesn’t affect him because he is an ‘intellectual.’ According to him, people engaging with him on social media are actually giving him what he wants: public attention.

Before his arrest, Mizzy mentioned that the TikTok prank videos resurfacing were from last year. He claimed that he has changed as a person after taking mushrooms.
