After the remaining competitors were eliminated from the US reality show competition American Idol over the weekend, the top three candidates have been officially named. On Sunday night, people waved goodbye to the two eliminated candidates.
The remaining three singers still competing on American Idol 2023 are Colin Stough, Megan Danielle, and Iam Tongi. Zachariah Smith and We Ani, two singers, were booted off American Idol 2023 on Sunday night.
18-year-old Colin Stough is a native of a little Mississippi village. Megan Danielle, age 20, is a Georgian singer. Iam Tongi, 18, is a native of Hawaii. His audition became the most-watched performance on American Idol 2023.
Looking back on Idol’s many seasons, it seems that the first six were much better for women, with Kelly Clarkson winning season 1, Fantasia Barrino winning season 3, Carrie Underwood winning season 4, and Jordin Sparks winning season 6.

The top three performers on American Idol 2023 on ABC are now officially advancing to the competition’s finale, and fans can’t wait to find out who will take first place. Two singers were sent home on Sunday, May 14, 2023, and the results startled many viewers. The Top 3 contestants were announced during the semi-finals of American Idol, which was telecast on Sunday, May 14, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ABC.

Megan Danielle, Iam Tongi, and Colin Stough will be in the season finale to battle who will win the American Idol microphone. The winner will then be revealed on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
The Winner Prediction
According to rumors, Iam Tongi, the favorite male competitor, may only finish second or third, while Megan Danielle is predicted to take first place. Although there is a fair diversity of styles and abilities, chances are that Megan will end up with the recording deal.
Christian pop singer Megan Danielle, 20, also works as a waiter for her mother. For the first time, Megan startled the judges midway through her “You Can’t Stop The Girl” performance at her audition, leaving them dumbfounded. She eventually defeated rival Paige Anne to win a sing-off.
Last week, Megan performed “Head Over Feet” in front of special guest judge Alanis Morissette. She also sang a duet of “Dive” by Ed Sheeran alongside another finalist Stough.
Megan has greater experience because she participated in The Voice. She competed in 2020 on Team Kelly Clarkson at 17, placing ninth overall. She is a serious candidate for the Top 3 thanks to her prior success.
Megan’s first musical preference was pop-rock, but she has subsequently changed her preference to Christian pop music, gaining a sizable fan base on American Idol 2023. Her first song had 154,000 views and almost 5,000 likes. At the same time, the second song received 137,000 views and almost 5,000 likes.
Danielle draws fans from the country genre. Several country performers, most notably Carrie Underwood, have triumphed in the past, demonstrating the show’s apparent popularity with the genre.
