Poppy Playtime Toys – Ranked, Who is the Scariest?

Despite the fact that Poppy Playtime has given its fans nightmares all over the world, not everyone can agree on which toy offers them the worst scare in the game. In this article, we’ll rank all the toys in Poppy Playtime and identify which one we consider to be the scariest. Enjoy or… not! 🙂

Who is the Scariest Poppy Playtime Toy? – Ranked

It’s time to intensify our investigation of the Playtime Company’s factory to find Poppy Playtime’s most frightening toys. Let’s go!

Candy Cat

Orphan Makayla Hyssop is referenced twice in passing on the Chapter 2 map as a volunteer in Candy Cat research.

Candy Cat was created by Playtime Co. in 1979. She was developed by the factory with the sole aim of feeding her sweets. Although it could change in the upcoming chapters, her specific role in the game remains a mystery. And because of this, we can’t really tell if she would be friendly or not. The way it sticks its tongue out tho is weird. :p

Boogie Bot

Boogie Bot in Poppy Playtime only appears on posters, yet there are a lot of them lying around the factory, many of them without power and in bits covered in blood.

I just don’t trust this bot. I believe it should be higher up the list, but for the time being, it will stay down here until we learn more about it. All I can think of is that it’ll partially be friendly at first and its CPU of some sort will get hacked by its creator and Boogie Bot will attack you.

Cat-Bee

The company’s toy Cat-Bee was introduced in the game. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, she was produced. A MAF device is required to create a Cat-Bee toy, which must then be scanned to unlock a chamber exit door.

Think of it this way, you be getting attacked by a swarm of Bees but have cat-like features. Cool huh? Getting stung by just a single bee is painful as h3ll already, consider a swarm of cats with wings attacking you.

Bron

Next on the list is this Massive Orange Dinosaur. Almost nothing is known about Bron in Poppy Playtime just YET. He is described as dedicated and hardworking, nevertheless. Additionally, he is strictly limited to eating no more than 4,000 calories per day. The voice-over of Bron reveals that he too likes dinosaur jokes.

Okay hear me out, imagine him starving and you two are in a locked room. What do you think will happen? Yep, that’s right! It’ll beg for food and cry until it’s tired and eventually falls asleep. Well, I hope so! If not, then maybe we’ll be having a mini-game in which we have to feed Bron until it’s full or Bron will make us its dessert. 🙂

Kissy Missy

Okay, I know a lot be hatin’. And yes, we all thought at first that Kissy Missy was Huggy Wuggy before she first came out of the shadows in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2. Then, Huggy Wuggy turned out to be this pink-friendly that somewhat we all (maybe 90% of the fans) liked. We can’t really tell if this cute-looking Huggy Wuggy is a ‘friendly’ or she just setting us up for a more terrifying experience inside the Playtime Co.

So why is she a little higher on the list? Simple, She’s a freakin’ female version of Huggy Wuggy that we are not entirely sure of its intentions. Remember the friendliest in every horror film? They are always the ones with ulterior motives right? We can’t tell for sure until we see what she does in the next Poppy Playtime Chapters and maybe Imma change her spot to the least scary toy (maybe).

Huggy Buddies

In one of Mommy Long Legs’ gaming challenges, there are enemies you might recognize: Huggy Buddies. Even if they come in a smaller version, these mini Huggy Wuggys are just as deadly.

You’ll need to whack them as they emerge from the holes in the minigame while we’re using a mole whacker. The reason why they’re lower on the list is that they are relatively small and you can whack ’em. Unlike the bosses in the game, in which you need ‘luck’ to defeat them. If using a crate and a grinder ain’t lucky enough for you then I don’t know what you call it. Scripted? LOL.

PJ Pug-a-Pillar

Okay, so how do I describe PJ, hmm. A Pug in a Caterpillar’s body – sounds cute eh? Well if you want your caterpillar as huge as a freakin’ cow with a Pug head, then be my guest. This freak ain’t gonna hesitate to eat your gut out once he reaches you during his Squid-like mini-game.

PJ Pug-A-Pillar in Poppy Playtime is a hideous, enormous toy that crawls on the ground and is part dog, half worm. As he slowly makes his way around the playground, it becomes terrifying. Since you must remain still when the music stops and the light comes on, you are reminded of the red/green light system in the Squid Game.

It is widely believed that Stella Greyber, a member of the Playtime Company staff, was responsible for creating Poppy through trials carried out there. The desire to make a toy that behaved as a real human served as the source of inspiration. The Playtime Corporation created the Poppy Playtime doll toy in the 1950s.

Well yeah, she’s creepy as h3ll. She resembles Annabelle. To those who don’t know Annabelle, she is the allegedly haunted doll from The Conjuring film boarded in the now-closed occult gallery of the paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren. Oh btw, did I mention this is based on a TRUE EFFIN STORY? yep. Poppy is something similar but with a twist. Poppy can walk and talk in front of you, unlike Annabelle. We can also compare Poppy with the Chucky doll, tho in my opinion is not as scary as Annabelle. Chucky is just a weird dude stuck inside a little doll’s body.

Experiment 1006: The Prototype

While the “scientist” is taping his documentary, we can hear the Prototype’s loud screaming voice at the beginning of the clip. You can hear loud footsteps approaching the so-called scientist towards the end of the gray tape in the Poppy Playtime Chapter 1, but we don’t know what happened after that.

Near the end of Poppy Playtime Chapter 2, we can see that this mechanical hand that grabbed Mommy Long Legs has a similar ‘feels’ to like if Freddy Krueger and Edward Scissorhands had a baby. We all know what Freddy Krueger is capable of right? A lot of adults know who he is, so all Gen Zs go watch A Night on Elm Street. (Experiment 1006: The Prototype would probably be on the top of this list in the next chapters.)

Bunzo Bunny

Okay, here is the 3rd placer creepiest poppy playtime toy, Bunzo Bunny. Do you recall when Manny Pacquiao simultaneously punched Joshua Clottey with both of his fists? You may see it here. Some people refer to it as the “Thunderclap.” It’s somewhat of the same situation here, except you won’t be able to defend yourself like Clottey; instead, you’ll have to beat a little puzzle game that was designed for you to lose and get clapped on.

Imagine playing a game while Bunzo Bunny bangs on those huge-a$$ cymbals, and if you failed the “test,” the consequence was having your head pounded in by Bunzo Bunny. Wouldn’t that be amusing?

Mommy Long Legs

Have you watched One Piece? The Main Protagonist there, Monkey D. Luffy had eaten a devil fruit called Gomu Gomu no Mi (Rubber Fruit). This fruit had given him the ability to stretch his body like a rubber band. Mommy Long Legs has the same attribute the only diff is that you’re trapped inside a factory that she used to work in. And that she knows every little detail about that factory. She can also climb up walls like Spiderman and has a firm grip. Her eyes also somewhat change color when she’s getting mad as h3ll.

Experiment 1170: Huggy Wuggy

Huggy Wuggy is the scariest toy in Poppy Playtime (so far). When you approach this toy for the first time during Poppy Playtime Chapter 1, you’ll notice that it is breathing gently. We only recently realized this one, and even now it still gives us the chills.

The way it moves and pursues us through the vent is so frightening that even just hearing its footsteps as it gets closer to you while you’re running may send chills down your spine. And if you were caught, his big, PENNYWISE-like jaws and teeth will dismember you to death.
