Golden State Warriors are on pace for another championship run with their big 3 (Curry, Thompson, and Green) now back in action. While this is great news to most fans, it’s the opposite for Denver.

The Nuggets (6th seed in the West) are facing a healthy Warriors (2nd seed) in the 1st round of the 2022 Playoffs. What’s unfortunate is that their 2 best players (Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr.) are both sidelined this season due to injuries.

The death line-up of GSW has already managed to take both home games and is now leading the series 2-0 against the Nuggets.

  • Game 1 (April 17 @Chase Center)
    Golden State Warriors: 123
    Denver Nuggets: 107
    GSW takes the lead, 1-0
  • Game 2 (April 19 @Chase Center)
    Golden State Warriors: 126
    Denver Nuggets: 106
    GSW takes a 2 game lead, 2-0

Both games were won with huge margins with Golden State outperforming and outscoring the Nuggets in both games.

Even though Jokic could become MVP this year, his postseason may possibly not look as great as his regular season. As a result, there’s a high chance the MVP will have an early playoff exit this year.

Their next meetings will be on April 21 (Game 3) and April 24 (Game 4) in Ball Arena (Denver, Colorado). Even though the Nuggets will be hosting the Warriors at home, the odds are still in favor for the Dubs to win games 3 and 4 which could result in a clean sweep.
