Gege Akutami is the author and illustrator of the wildly successful supernatural anime and manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. The universe is populated by intriguing characters, terrifying-looking creatures, and a complex power structure that cleverly and creatively incorporates shonen clichés.
When Jujutsu Kaisen won Anime of the Year at the fifth annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards, it caused quite a stir. Given the manga’s recent increase in sales. Given the anime’s rising popularity, the victory is hardly a surprise.
Many anime fans and critics have been moved by the tale of Yuuji Itadori, a physically gifted high school student who is studying to be a jujutsu sorcerer. Some have even defended the anime as a significant, even revolutionary, work in the history of shonen action anime.
Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer, and 3 others anime to watch if you love Jujutsu Kaisen

Although it can be challenging to discover anime that are exactly like Jujutsu Kaisen, there are several that are definitely worth watching. In order to keep fans entertained till the season break is over, this post will focus on five such shows.
Note: This article is subjective and reflects the writer’s views.
1) Chainsaw Man (2022)

One of the most eagerly awaited anime releases of 2022 was Chainsaw Man. It follows Denji, a demon hunter who is at the bottom of the barrel. Based on the manga of the same name, Pochita, a demon, is the only friend Denji has. Through the most trying times, the two of them remain loyal to one another. Unfortunately, Denji perishes in a tragic occurrence, but Pochita gives his life to save him.
Denji, a cute oaf who appears in the bloody and gory anime about fighting demons, is the main character. The title of “dopiest” anime protagonist may be shared by Denji and Yuji, as they both have a formidable cast of demons and devils working against them.
2) Demon Slayer (2019)

With Demon Slayer, the new age anime trend keeps going on. The narrative centers on the Tanjiro and Nezuko siblings. Tanjiro seeks to become a demon slayer in order to free his sister from a demonic curse after losing the majority of his family to a demon attack. It tells the story of their quest to kill Demon King Muzan.
The greatest time to start watching this popular anime is right now if you haven’t already begun. After making its debut in 2019, Demon Slayer quickly became a global phenomenon, and its popularity is still on the rise. Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen will adore the action, evil characters, and lethal animation. The fact that the story is somewhat depressing also enhances its profile considerably.
3) Tokyo Ghoul (2014)

Ken Kaneki has a condition that transforms him into a half-ghoul after a potentially fatal encounter. Forced into the ghoulish world, Kaneki must struggle to survive and do his best to blend in without giving away who he really is. Although occasionally predictable, the show is entertaining to watch and features some interesting characters and conflict.
This spooky thriller is set in a world where flesh-eating Ghouls, creatures that resemble humans, sneak through civilization and consume people to survive. Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen will most likely recognize Tokyo Ghoul as another bloody and violent series. This kind of dual-natured storytelling is comparable to the way Jujutsu sorcerers defend humans while engaging in brutal combat.
4) Attack on Titan (2013)

The fascinating characters of AoT battle enormous, mythical Titans rather than curses. The major characters are flawless and experience tremendous personal growth throughout their personal storylines. In the amidst of this, they are dragged into brutal conflicts with opponents who seem invincible.
Giant monsters may be present in Attack on Titan, but that doesn’t mean fans can’t enjoy it. The anime explores issues including violence, death, and the pointlessness of genocidal conflict. A fantastic anime that can be compared to Jujutsu Kaisen is one that features protagonists who face impossible challenges and Attack on Titan does exactly this.
5) Naruto (2002)

Naruto Uzumaki, a cheeky young ninja, is the protagonist of this story. He struggles to find acceptance and harbors ambitions to become the Hokage, the village’s chief and most powerful ninja. It features a boisterous main character, a depressing antagonist who pushes the protagonist to develop, the powerful, tough women, and the enigmatic teacher in a mask.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s tale shares many similarities with that of Naruto Uzumaki, who was taught by extraordinary mentors to control his boundless chakra and use his skills to defend those he loves. The actors in both series share a lot of characteristics with one another. Anyone who enjoys battle sequences, complex skills, and character development must watch this shonen anime, Naruto.
